The Next Day at the College~ Genevieve and Alexander were in their math class. Math didn't come easily to Genevieve as it did for Alexander, so he was helping her with the final exam, which was a big part of their grades. Genevieve was working on the test when the professor came by. "Ms. Genevieve, what are you doing?" the professor asked. "Doing my math test," Genevieve replied. "Really?" the professor said, and picked up the papers. "Why do you have two papers on the desk?" he asked. "I'm sorry," Genevieve said. "Genevieve, you and Alexander are the only students who are 12 years old in this program. You're very lucky," the professor said. "I'm sorry, math doesn't come easily to me like everything else," Genevieve admitted. "I know. You're a girl, that's why. I'm sorry, but I have to call your parents," the professor said. "Please don't. My mother is very sick," Genevieve pleaded. "I know. I heard, and I'm sorry, but I have no choice," the professor replied. "It was all my idea," Alexander said. "You're both in trouble," the professor told them.
