13 YEARS LATER......

She's walking around the cafeteria. Almost memorized the details of it. The staffs' names and even the faces of some of the customers. This place was her favorite. She sit on her favorite spot where she can watch the bay, the sun setting down. She gazed intently in the glass window of the shop, at the people sitted on the benches facing the bay. The waiter caught her attention. "Good Evening Ma'am. What do you want to order?" She knew him, he took often her orders whenever she got here. "Just like what I've used to order Brett. And please, everytime I am here.. Don't ask me what to order, just bring them to me." She intented to crack a joke and luckily he got it. He never asked why She is alone because he doesn't even care. And She will not answer him. She shifted her eyes back into the window, enjoying the unnatural scenery outside. The cars are moving slowly, keeping away from the people dancing in the middle of the pavement. A sudden lightning bolt flashed in the sky and was followed by a heavy thunder. People began to run for a shed. The rain dropped. It was heavy.

Her gaze was still outside, then someone passed blocking her sight. Her eyes follow him and he is getting inside the cafeteria. Some of the staffs look at him sternly because of the water dropping on the floor from his coat. He didn't notice that almost of the people inside were staring at him. He stopped in the middle and searching for a vacant seat, but there's no available. All chairs were in used except the chair in front of her. When his eyes landed on her direction, he caught her looking at him. He paced in her direction without an expression, just plain.

When he was in front of her he asked her if he can share with the table. "S-sure." It was the most articulate answer she could offer in the moment. She doesn't want to act stubborn on this mysterious guy. The waiter arrived carrying her orders and after he put them on the table, he asked the guy's orders. A couple of minutes passed and found herself staring at the food while the spoon and fork are at her hands. They can feel the tension of the ambiance between them. The guy cleared his throat. No one doesn't want to speak. The guy coughed again and again. She can't avoid it so he asked him. "Are you okay? It seemed, you're having a cold." Finally found her words to speak to him. It was the best way to menace the awkwardness growing. They are sitting in one table without any word or any one who would like to start a conversation. "Yeah, I'm alright. Don't mind it. Anyway, why you're alone?" He was so casual but she can feel his tediousness between his words. He was the only one who tried to asked it. Someone who is concerned to her. No. She doesn't want to assume that someone cared for her because no one, especially in this place. Finding an answer for this long-time unheard question is what she's thinking right now. Alone. No one is with her. No company. She have friends. They're are countless. She also have a family of course. But why she was alone?
"I just wanted to relaxed, away from stress." She didn't know where she get her answer. She was shocked. Maybe it's true. She wanted to unwind. To breathe some fresh air, not literally. His eyes were locked at her face. "O-okay." He muttered.

She eat her foods without looking at him. They didn't talk again. After a few minutes, the waiter arrived carrying his orders. It was just a coffee. Many odd things happened to her these days. They stayed silent, busying theirselves with their food. The silence between them is very irritating. A strange feeling that she hate of was filling her chest. The awkwardness. It was suffocating. She hate being with unknown person especially if she wanted to be alone. He broke the silence. "You know, even you're a stiff girl, you eat a lot." He said drawing a playful smirk on his lips. She lifted her head and glared at him. Her hand let the spoon and fork fell on the side of the plate. They didn't created a loud sound, but some other customers glance at them. She looked at the crowd, every table if there are people watching them or heard what he have said. "I'm not a stiff, you idiot!" She said whispering but too loud for him to hear it. He laughed shortly. He was trying to make fun again, his usual errand, his personality. Funny. No. Ludicrous is the right term. He's a fool. She took money to pay her bills. She put it under the plate and stand on her chair. "I was trying to be good to a stranger like you because when I met a stranger when I was a young, he's far good from you bastard!" She didn't care if all eyes on her when she said it. The guy really annoyed her and she doesn't even know him. They just met. Sitted in one table. She walked fast through the glass door and left the cafeteria.
