THIRD PERSON

It's been a month and a week since they went to Batangas and Zambales. That only means, nagtatrabaho na ulit si Vicky . On the remaining days of Vicky's leave, they've been having dinner and going anywhere. They're happy with each other's company. The serious Gabriel that Vicky knows, changed into a jolly one and the problematic Vicky turned joyful, when they're together.

On the other hand, Alfred still texts Vicky. And they actually having conversations thru text. She found a new friend.

"Maybe this is the time that I must decide what my feeling for him is," Vicky told herself as she open the door of Gabriel's office.

Gabriel went to work early that day. So, Vicky thought she was late.

"I'm sorry, I'm late. I didn't took the M--"

Gabriel cut her words.

"It's okay. I'm just early. What's my schedule for today?" Gabriel casually asked.

"3 meetings... 10:30 AM with the board, 12 PM with Mr. Gonzales and  3 PM with Ms. Lopez," Vicky answered. Kinakabahan siya kay Gabriel. Sinabi niya rito na one month lang ay may sagot na siya. But until now, wala pa rin siyang nasasabi.

The employees of Gabriel's company don't know yet what's going on with them. They just know that Vicky is Gabriel's secretary.

Vicky thought about how she's going to tell Gabriel about her feelings for today. Pero parang tuwing makikita niya si Gabriel, nawawala ang 23 times niyang pagpapalit ng line niya to make it sounds good.

"Uuhhm, Toria, Let's meet later. You owe me an information." Gabriel looked at Vicky "7pm. Same place," he smiled "OUR PLACE."

With that, instant na namula si Vicky. Since dinala siya ni Gabriel sa lugar na yun, naging paborito niya nang lugar yun. That tower-like place where you can see the city lights at night and green plantation at day. Breath taking view.

Vicky gets her purple pen (she never used other color. Blue if she had no choice) and started to write how she feels now. Di nya namalayan ang oras kaya tuloy lamg siya sa pagsulat. Kahit lumabas na si Gabriel, di niya pinansin ang paglabas nito. Basta isususlat niyo yung letter.

After several more minutes, natapos niya yung letter. Finally, nakaya niya. Ang problema niya na lang is kung paano niya ibibigay yun.

Sa kabilang dako, Nawi-weirdan na si Gabriel sa kilos ni Vicky. Di niya alam kung ano bang nangyayari rito. Itatanong niya na rin ito sa kanya mamaya sa lugar nila.

Surr na ba siya sa pagmamahal niya kay Vicky?

Hindi niya alam.

He's not sure.

He's only sure that he likes her.

LIKE. Sobrang layo sa LOVE.

7pm gets closer and closer. It's 6:45 already. Kakatapos lang ng meeting ni Gabriel with his business partners. Sure siya na nauna na si Vicky doon kaya dumiretso na sya.

When he walks up the stairs, he saw Vicky satanding there. Looking at the city lights. Her hair is being blown by the air, as well as her white dress.

"Toria..." tawag nya na nagpalingon kay Vicky.

Vicky smiled nervously.

"Toria, why you act weird earlier?" nagtatakang tanong niya habang hawak  si Vicky sa dalawa nitong balikat.

"H-huh? Y-yah. Because I'm going to tell-- give you something." sabi niya at kinuha ang papel na sinulatan niya kanina.

"Purple ink, huh?" Gabriel raised his brow up.

"I used to it." she simply said.

Gabriel,

I never expected all of this in my life. THIS. From our company problem to this decision. I never thought that our company will get into that. I never predicted that a man will come to save it. Same man who annoys me alot. Same man who makes me laugh. And same man who can make me blush just because of his smile. I NEVER expect this.

I don't know if you are serious with this relationship, Gabriel. I can't read you. You're too deep. Maybe, more years with you would make me know you more.

Gabriel, just promise. Promise that you won't hurt me. Yes, I told you that I am ready to be hurt. I'm eating my words now. I do not want to be hurt.  I'm not ready. If you're just going to hurt me, then tell me now so I could move on with this.

If you can say that my answer now is a YES already,  then you're wrong. But I just want you to know that I TRUST YOU, Gabriel. Don't waste it, please.

Victoria

Sa haba ng oras ng pagsusulat ni Vicky niyan, iyan lang ang nasulat niya. Kinakabahan siya sa sasabihin ni Gabriel.

Pinagpapawisan na siya ng malamig, sinabayan pa ng ihip ng malalakas na hangin.

"Toria..." banggit ni Gabriel sa pangalan niya.

Vicky just looked at him with a nervous look.

"I......."
