VICKY

Today is my first day to work for our company. I'm very nervous sa kung anong pwedeng mangyari ngayon. I hope they will treat me well.

"Mang Pedring, Marcial Imports tayo." sabi ko sa family driver namin.

"Yes po, Ma'am." magalang na sagot ni Mang Pedring.

After few minutes, narating na namin ang company. When I came in, ang konti na lang ng employees. Pabagsak na nga talaga ang Marcial Imports. I think, kailangan ko nang humingi ng tulong from other companies.

Collaboration might be a key.

I asked my dad's secretary.

"Uuhm.." she paused for moment and looked at the papers she's holding, "Arellano Corporation, Ma'am. Their company is the number one here in the Philippines and Asia at popular din po Internationally.." she answered.

Grabe ang company nila ha. Kahit siguro maid nila ang yaman na. Paano kaya ako makakahingi ng tulong sa presidente n'on?

"Who is the owner of that company?"

"Si Mr. Gabriel Arellano po. Take note, Ma'am, he's very handsome!" sabi ni Mia na kinikilig-kilig pa.

I'm not familiar with this man.

"Okay," I looked at her, "Paki-contact mo siya. I need to talk to him. Just connect the line on my office whenever he answer the call. Okay?"

"Yes, Ma'am."

Pumasok na ako sa office ko and checked the sales of our company. By the way, ang company namin ay nagiimport ng clothes from different stores here in the Philippines to the other countries in Europe.

Back to our sales, bagsak nga talaga and parang di na makakabangon. Kahit ayaw nya, I'll make him help me.

Few minutes later, nagring ang telephone.

"Hello?"

(Ma'am Mr. Arellano is on the line already.)

"Okay, thanks." I dropped the call and picked up the other telephone.

"Good morning, Mr. Arellano! This is Victoria Marcial of Marcial Imports." bati ko.

(So what's the matter, Ms. Marcial? Ayokong nasasayang ang oras ko. So please, tell me what you need.)

"I want to ask for a partnership. I want my company to be a subsidiary of yours. If you want me to explain this more over we can meet personally."

(No.)

"Please, help me na maisalba ang company namin and I'll do anything you want."

(No.)

"Wait, Mr. Arellano. Look, kailangan talaga kita. Tulungan mo na ako..."

(No.)

"What the! Mr. Arellano, please. Gagawin ko talaga ang lahat, tulungan mo lang ako. Kahit gawin mo kong maid m--"

(No. Di ko kailangan ng maid. I already have lots. And you know what? You're annoying.)

(Fine. Meet me later at 2pm. Sweet Elegance. Do not make me wait, okay? Bye.)
