Time stretched and slowed down as they took her away from me and then took her into the ambulance. I felt like the whole world felt cold. I could still feel her body cooling down in my arms. Her blood still covered my hands. "Harrison?!" Jessie shook me bringing me back to reality. "Hm?" I looked up to him still shell shocked.

"Do you want to go with her? I think you should...." he said, placing his hand on my shoulder. "Yeah... uh yea..." I whispered as I tried to stand up. He helped me up and led me to the ambulance.

I stepped in front of the vehicle, I looked at my girlfriend's bloody body hooked up to many machines and looked practically dead.

I took a deep breath in and stepped in and sat by the stretcher that she was laid on. With trembling hands I reached over and held her cold hand. She looked pale.

"Okay, Harrison. Erm as soon as we get to the hospital you have to talk to the police while we take her to surgery. The police need a lot of information about these people, Harrison. This whole situation is kinda fucked up." Allen, one of the paramedics said to me while he got everything ready for us to move to the hospital. I just nodded but kept her hand in mine.

Somehow time went by quickly and before I knew it we were at the hospital. In a matter of seconds a large group of doctors and nurses took over. Her cold hand was pulled away from me. I heard her little wiper of pain when they tried to take the stretcher out of the vehicle. She was in pain. Even with all that drug and pain kills she still felt the pain. It shouldn't have been there in the first place, and I know I don't have much to play here but I can't help but feel that it was all somehow my fault. Sure her psycho ex did it all and sure my psycho ex also fuelled the fire but it is my responsibility to protect her. It's my job to take care of her.

I stepped out last and started to walk in following the group that had Amy's life in their hands. I was pulled aside by a nurse asking if I was injured. I guess all the blood on my shirt was why she was worryingly asking if I was okay. I quickly nodded and asked to see the police.

Soon I was sitting in a room, still covered in her blood. My hands still shook, my legs bouncing in anticipation. I looked around the room, it was a simple hospital room, everything was white and light blue. The colours of death as Amy called them all the time. She hates the hospital smell, I thought to myself. The door suddenly opened and Jerry, the policeman who was usually posted by the beach, walked in.

"Hey mate!" he said as he closed the door behind him and walked towards me.

"Hey Jerry!" I whispered.

"Erm... i- i'm sorry for what happened. And I know you're not in the best place rightnow but I have to do my job so there is a list of questions I'll ask you. For your information, I have to let you know that I'll be recording your voice...." he said, sitting down and opening the file in his hand.

"That's alright"

"Okay so... um before anything, can you identify the people who attacked you?"

"Yea...ahm... I know one of them... Mike... not sure what his last name or full name is but he used to be in a relationship with Amy a few years back. It was toxic. I know he was aggressive and abusive so she left him but things got bad and he ended up in jail. Somehow he got out much earlier than he should've. I- i'm not sure what exactly he wants with her. I mean he apparently has Alison now so what he wants with her I don't know." I answered honestly.

"Okay ... so he wants to hurt her because Alison wants him to do so! Look man this whole situation is extremely fucked up. I dont know what the fuck is hapening and I'm the police!" Jerry laughed. "But here is the plan... i'll be honest with you mate there is no actual plan here... we just have to try and catch him and Alison... hopefully save Amy and so many other people. The problem is we are not sure what is their next plan or next step which is why we can't catch them! This is stupid man! I'm sorry!" he rambled on.
