It's been a few days since I got out of the hospital. I'm alive and well; just have a few bruises here and there but I'm good. By now all the boys except Harrison and Amy know about what happened. She comes back today and I guess I'll have to see her. Maxi said he invited them over for drinks, I helped Thaila to get some drinks ready. I was in the kitchen when Maxi opened the door and let her and Hutz in, I pulled my hair in my face and put on my cap to maybe cover my bruises.

They all hugged but I stayed back and kept myself busy with the drinks, glancing back at them every few seconds, hoping she wouldn't notice me but she did. She smiled and said softly "Hey Jethro!"

I nodded my head and smiled back, praying to god that Tahlia gets her busy with telling her travel stories and thankfully she did but not for long.

I was in the kitchen when the boys walked in looking for drinks. "Hey Jeff! How are ya? You're awfully quiet today!" Hutz said walking in and standing beside me.

"Eh... I'm fine." I said turning too quickly, my hair moved displaying my bruised eye.

"Woh! What the hell happened to you?" He asked. I turned my face. "Nothing... it's nothing. Got in a little bit of trouble." I replied.

Maxi looked at me as if telling me 'why are you hiding it?'. I shook my head telling him 'not now' but the dude didn't give up.

"Oh please! He got beaten up. Come on tell him! He'll find out soon enough. I mean Mouse knows so it's only the matter of days until he runs his mouth." he said, taking another sip of his drink.

"Yea I can see that! Who hit you? What happened?" he asked.

"Uh... well..." I looked at Maxi and started to explain what happened.

"Someone attacked you?! Why?" Amy said walking in the kitchen. I looked up forgetting my bruised face was on display for all to see.

"Oh my gosh!... jeth- wha-What the hell happened to you? Who did this?" She said walking towards me looking straight in my eyes.

"I... don't worry... it's over... it's okay. Look. Look, I'm totally fine!" I said laughing and turned around so she could see that I was fine.

"JETHRO! Stop messing with me and tell me what the Hell happened!" said louder.

"Okay! Okay. erm could we erm talk in private? Please?" I said reaching over and held her hand. She looked up at me through her eyelashes and then at Harrison and Maxi, then back to me.

"Fine." she answered softly.

We walked to my room. I let her in and closed the door behind me. She sat on the bed as I started to pace the length of my room trying to decide how to explain to her what I've done.

"Okay okay... here it goes. Um.... okay... well... no. wait. Hold on...I..." I tried to put together my sentence.

"Jethro! Just say it... what is going on?" she said softly as she stood up.

"Amy...I... okay look what I'm about to tell you might make you want to kill me and that's okay. But please please trust me I did what I did because I wanted to help you. I wanted to save you. I'm so sorry." I stepped closer to her and held her hand.

"What are you talking about Jeff?!"

"JJ... I was the one who went to the police. He told me about Mike. He was at the party...Alison's party and he threatened JJ. He was after you and he told us. I mean me, Maxi and Hoppo. I should've shut up but I was scared for you so I waited for him to leave the country and then told the police. I have no idea how he found out. I just wanted to help you. I just wanted to keep you safe. I'm so sorry Amy... I'm..." I said kneeling down in front of her holding her shaking hands. She just nodded and sniffled.
