We walked down to the change rooms so I could give her the gear she needed and show her around the tower so she knew where everything was before she started to work. I opened the door to the change room and held it open for her to walk in first.
"After you." I said smiling.
"Thanks." She said with a sweet smile on her face.
I smiled to myself again and walked behind her. She walked in and stopped aside and waited for me so I walked passed her and to the closet where we keep extra gear.
"Sooo... you will need and new lifeguard shirt..." I dig through the pile of shirts and found one in her size.
"I think this should fit you" I said pulling the shirt out and passing it to her. "Hold on let me give you an extra one so you can wash and use." I said passing her another one.
"Thank you." She said as she put them on the desk. "What else do I need?" She asked.
"Ummm we are out of female boarding shorts so for now I'll give you one of the men shorts till we order a set for you. is that ok?" I said as I looked through the shorts for either one that was small or one that was made for females.
"Yea that should be fine. I don't mind." She said taking the short from me.
"Anddd you need a set of wet-suit for when you start to go jet ski but I can't see any here so I'm gonna talk to Hoppo to order both the wet-suit and the shorts for you." I said looking at her.
"Sure that's ok. I don't think I'll be going on jet ski anytime soon. You'll need to teach me how to ride it first." She said chuckling a little embarrassed.
"I will. Don't worry. Most of the boys who start working here don't know how to use the ski at first either so nothing to worry about." I said laughing making her laugh too. She has a beautiful laugh.
"Good to know I'm not the only one who doesn't know."she said laughing. "But also maxi said apparently you really are good at teaching surfing to people who know nothing about surfing." She continued.
"He said that? Wow... umm yea well I've never actually taught anyone before other than a few kids but I guess you could say I'm a good surfer. Why?" I asked.
"Well I need you to teach me because I only know how to paddle at the moment. I'll pay you with cookies. " She said with a serious face.
"Oh right...in that case...I'd love to teach you." I said laughing as I started to lead her out and towards the tower again.
We climbed the stairs to the tower and opened the door and showed her where everything was. About 40 minutes later we were done with the tower tour.
"So yea, that's all there is to know about the tower, more or less. Any questions?" I said. She looked at me and said "honestly you answered most of my questions for how but I'll ask if anything came to my mind." She said looking around the tower one last time making sure she knows everything.
