"Five years," Octavia said over the radio as Bellamy sat in the office of Becca's lab. "Can you really survive up there?"

"Raven says we can," Bellamy knew as an older brother, he could not tell her the truth. That he was in panic mode of survival right now. No, he had to lie and assure her that everything would be fine. "As soon as it's safe, we'll find a way back down. We will meet again."

"I'll be waiting big brother," Octavia paused for a moment. "There's someone here to talk to you."

There was a long pause on the Radio but Bellamy's heart jumped when he heard her voice. "B-Bellamy?"

"Hey," Bellamy breathed out. "Mya I'm..."

"Bellamy..." Mya sounded so sad, and he hated to hear that in her voice again. "You p-promised me."

Bellamy took a shaky breath, trying not to cry. "I have good news."

"What's that?" Mya asked.

"Sirena's here with us," Bellamy smiled, knowing that was probably making her smile to hear. "She's coming up into space with us. You were right to hope. And I need you to keep hoping because I will come back down to you... I will meet our daughter one day. I'm coming back for you guys."

"I love you," Mya whispered into the radio.

"I love you too," Bellamy could say the one hard thing about this, was not being with the girl he loved for five years. It probably pained him more than it pained her.

"Bel- you...can-" The radio started going out.

"Mya?" Bellamy tried to get in contact with her. "Mya, can you hear me?"

But the radio went silent. He looked up as Lea walked into the room. "Can I..."

"It's gone," Bellamy tossed it on the table. "The death wave probably wiped it out."

Lea took in a shaky breath. "I didn't even get to... I didn't even get to say goodbye to her or Yuki. O-Or let them know Sirena is okay."

"She knows," Bellamy stood up. "I told her. Now we look out for each other, and we get to them. And one day, I'll get to meet my kid... who won't even know what I look like or the sound of my voice... I'm doing exactly what I told her I wouldn't do."

"She knew you were going to be a good dad," Lea decided to tell him this, if only to try and take away some of his pain. "Mya wouldn't have gotten back together with you if she didn't fully know that in her heart. She'll tell your baby about you, every day of those five years. And when you finally meet them, their already going to know how amazing you are."

Bellamy wiped under his eyes, trying really hard not to break down right now. "I-I'm sorry you didn't get to say goodbye."

"It would have been a terrible goodbye," Lea laughed slightly. "Because neither of us would have been able to actually say it. And, hey, at least this way, I get to say hello to her the next time I see her."
