It was a long walk to the common rooms. Sassy was with the boys except for Remus who was walking me to my dorm. We haven't said a word to each other since Regulus walked off. Approaching the entrance, I leaned against the wall and sighed facing Remus. He walked over to me cupping my face with his hands and met my stare.

"I'm sorry about what went down," he mumbled.

"It's not your fault. It's not his business-"

"It isn't but... he's right," Remus frowned.

"No. He isn't. It was my decision. I knew you would stop and I knew I'll be ok. What we do in our relationship has nothing to do with him," i grumbled and frowned deeper.

"He's your best friend-"

"So is Sassy and you don't see her making a fucking fuss-"

"That's because Sassy is straight-"

"Debatable," I commented and he sighed. "Plus Regulus doesn't like me like that."

"He could've fooled me," Remus sighed.

"He doesn't Remus. He's just an ass. Trust me," i said.

"I do I do. I'm just really sorry. I hope you two can work it out," he replied.

"He'll get over it. It's just... Sassy is like a sister to me we all know this...."

"But...?"

"We were in two different worlds until quite recently. Regulus was all I had on the other side."

"So you just proved my point love. You're all he feels he has too. You put yourself in danger hence... him freaking the fuck out," Remus smiled softly.

"Yea... I guess. I'm still giving him a piece of my mind," I groaned rolling my eyes.

"I would expect nothing less gorgeous," Remus laughed before kissing me softly. He parted from me and said, "oh- I didn't mean to put your business with Regulus out there as well- that was uncalled for-"

"It's ok. Sirius and Sassy knew already. Peter minds his business and James well... it is what it is," I shrugged. "I trust all of you."

"Well. Let me let you go so you can talk to Regulus. I'll see you tomorrow," Remus said.

"See you tomorrow," I nodded and gave him a quick peck.

I took in a deep breath and walked into the slytherin common room. I made my way up to my room and once I opened the door I saw regulus sitting on the edge of my bed staring at the wall. The rest of the room was empty and I took in a deep breath before walking all the way in. Closing the door behind me, I casted a locking and silencing charm for precaution. I stepped more into the room and he continued to stare straight ahead.

"Regulus... I know you're worried-"

"You don't understand the rollercoaster my mind went through within those fucking 10 minutes," he spat.

"What do you mean-"

"I thought Sassy got hurt and I was freaking out about that at first- and thought I don't say it but I love her like my own sister. I thought she got fucking attacked-"
