There was a box on my bed and I can see Klara and Reg smile at me from her bed. I eyed it curiously while I casted a quick drying spell on my hair.

"What's this?" I asked approaching it.

"A box," Regulus commented and I heard an immediate smack against skin.

"Asshole," I groaned lifting it.

I brushed my index finger on the note momentarily smiling at the gesture. Opening the box I tore apart the white sheets to reveal a soft silky red material. I grabbed the folded cloth and wiggled it open.

A red dress was revealed and I smiled in awe. It was beautiful. Simple, not so flashy but the way I like it.

"Woah," I can hear Klara say.

I looked at the box and noticed there was a small bag that was tied up with a careful bow. Placing the box carefully on the bed, I grabbed the bag and opened it to see diamond earrings. My mouth flew open and I stared at them in shock.

"Sirius is making me proud. I'm feeling quite smug," Regulus smirked and I laughed at his comment.

"These are beautiful," I whispered.

"Well come on then. Get ready- I want to see the final look," Klara pushed.

I exited the bathroom with only the sound of my heels colliding against the wooden floor echoing in the room. Klara and Regulus looked at me almost immediately and smiled at my appearance.

"Aw- you look beautiful," Klara said.

"You look lovely," Regulus nodded.

"I'm so fucking nervous," I admitted with a uneasy laugh.

"What- why?" Reg asked confused.

"I don't know. Sirius and I have been best friends for years. It was comfortable. But a date? Fucking hell- what if it's not as comfortable-"

"Sassy. You're going to be fine. You both are so disgustingly in love. It's going to be more than ok," Klara reassured.

I took in a deep breath and nodded.

"Ok. Ok."

Regulus jumped out of bed and faced me. "Let me walk you down."

I smiled at him and grabbed onto his elbow. I looked over at Klara and she was also smiling warmly at us.

"I can't wait to hear all about it. Have fun," she said and I gave her a wink before Regulus led me out of the room.

"Usually on a girl's first official date with their intended, the father escorts her to the door. It's an old tradition. And if there's no father present-"

"I'm guessing the brother takes his place?" I asked and Regulus swallowed hard.

"Yea. Exactly. I know you have Severus but he doesn't know. And I know technically Sirius is my actual brother.. but I see you as my you know..," he said and quickly cleared his throat.
