Chapter 66

Samantha

"Klara?" I called.

"Hm?" She groaned half asleep.

"Are you down to sneak to Lily's room?"

"Your brother and Reg will fucking kill us if we went over there."

"Yes."

"Fine let's go," she sighed and I quickly sat up.

We made our way down the stairs and into the common room. We were almost to the door until we heard someone clear their throat. Klara and I jumped and turned to see Dorcas and Evan on the couch.

"And where are you two going?" Dorcas smirked. "And don't bother lying."

Klara and I exchanged glances and sighed.

"I want to speak with Lily," I replied.

"Evans?" Dorcas asked.

"In the Gryffindor common room?" Evan asked.

"No at the bottom of the Black Lake- yes the Gryffindor common room," Klara groaned.

"Alright alright sorry," Evan smirked.

"Nice. Can I come with?" Dorcas asked.

"Why do you want to come?" I asked.

"McKinnon is her roommate right?"

"What do you want with Marlene?"

Dorcas smirked and Klara pointed at her accusingly.

"You like her?"

"Is that a yes?" Dorcas smirked.

"You know she's with Peter Pettigrew right?" Klara pointed out.

Dorcas rolled her eyes and got to her feet.

"Don't even mention that boy to me."

"Watch it. He's our mate," I warned.

"You can do better. Respectfully," Dorcas shrugged.

And a cold feeling washed over me.

I knocked on the door and it opened to reveal Lily. We stared at each other for a moment and she immediately pulled me into a big hug.

"It's so good to see you here," Lily mumbled before releasing me. "Come in- uh- Meadowes?"

"Hey Evans. Mind if I intrude?" Dorcas asked smiling at her.

Lily glanced over her shoulder where I knew Marlene was and lily stepped to the side.

"Not at all. Come in," Lily said.

Klara and her hugged each other and Dorcas looked around in awe. The door closed and I went over to say hi to Marlene and Alice.
