Jayden slammed his hands on the stone walls of his cell. He started to pace around the room. He couldn't stand one more minute in this room. Every day, the walls seemed to be getting closer and closer. He was all alone, with no contact with the other inmates. He glanced up at the bright light in his cell. It gave him a headache every single day. It was so bright it just hurt his eyes and brain. He sighed and turned the other way again. He looked at the wall. His knuckles soon met the stones again. And again, and again. One of the guards who stood by his cell door said something to him. He didn't listen to it. He was too focused on beating the wall out of anger. It didn't take long for his knuckles to start bleeding. But he kept hitting. The poor boy jumped on his bed and beat the window, trying to break it. All the strength and anger he had in his veins, he let it all out. "Hey!" he heard from the other side of the door. He just kept beating and beating. The door was pushed open behind him. Large hands took hold of his shoulders and pulled him off his bed. He struggled against them. He kicked against the bed and walls as he was dragged out of his cell. "You need to cool off, boy." One of the men behind him spoke up. How was he able to calm down? There was nothing else to look forward to anymore. But he wouldn't stop resisting. The two men dragged him down some steps and through the prison. Others watched silently as he was taken away. They went down some more stairs. That was not too easy with Jaydon who kept struggling. The darkest place in prison. The darkest hall. The light that hung there was not stable and not bright enough to illuminate even an inch. The isolation cell. "Let me go, asshole!" Jayden exclaimed loudly. One of the men let go of his arms. Jayden watched as he grabbed the keys to the door of the isolation cell. The key clicked into the hole and the door opened.
But on the other hand, it wasn't dark. It was a hallway. No cell. He was pushed through. "Run through!" said the man sternly. Jayden did as he was asked and kept walking. Someone was standing at the end of the hallway. "Meg," The teen said. Jayden was handed over to her as if he was a piece of meat. Without questions. Without exchanging a word. Nothing at all. Megan took his arm and led him to the next door. "What are you doing here? What's happening?" He asked. "There's no time for that now. Your brothers are waiting. We have to get out of here before anyone realizes you're gone." she explained. She opened the door with a key card. The light nearly blinded him. The sun was right on them and the exit. She leads him over to a car that was waiting for the both of them. Jerry and Jack were already seated inside. Jayden's eyes widened when he crawled onto the backseat of the vehicle. He immediately embraced his brother. "You better buckle up. We're leaving." Megan ordered them. Jayden embraced Jerry from behind as he was sitting in the passenger's seat. He patted his chest before sitting down and fastening his seat belt.
"So, where exactly are we going?" Casper questioned. He turned his head to look at Jade. "Some place named Centerfield or something like that." She said. Louis' head popped up between them. "It's Chesterfield. And you better make a turn if you want us to end up there." He tells the boy. Casper checked around him before making a right turn. Jade looked at her uncle. "He knows which ways to turn." She informs, "Have some faith." She added. "I would rather not." He replied. The strawberry-blonde girl sighed. "Ignore him." She tells Casper. He nodded and focused on the road. Louis looked over his shoulder. He was sitting in the back seat of the car. "Why am I banished to the back seat again?" He asked. "Because you're a bit of a control freak in driving. You'd freak him out." Jade explained. "Then let me drive. We could be there before the sun rises." Louis tells her. Jade glared at him. She pushed her thumb against his forehead and pushed him back into the back seat. "Stop complaining." She tells him sternly. She sat back in her seat and looked out the window. She sighed, realizing they were going a little slow. She looked at Casper. "Could you speed up a little, though?" She asks him. "Of course, ma'am." He chuckled. "Told you," Louis said from the back seat. "Oh, shut up. Don't you have a cartoon to watch or something?" Jade snaps back at him.
At this time, night has fallen. It was probably safe for them to step out without being recognized immediately. "You think someone's out there?" Jerry asked her. Megan shook her head as she scanned their surroundings. There was a lady with a man sitting in their little booth. But there was no one else there. And they were too occupied with each other. Her phone lit up. "She says it's okay." She read out loud. The triplets looked at each other. An identical frown appeared on their faces. Megan turned her head to them. "Don't worry." She assured them. She then opened the door of her car and stepped out. The four of them sneaked past the couple sitting in their booth. Megan leads them over to their small room and quickly shut the door behind them. "Okay, could you please tell me what the hell is going on? How did you even get us out?" Jayden asks her as soon as the door was shut. Megan didn't answer his questions. She walked over to the small curtains and pushed them open. She checked if there was anyone outside. If anyone had seen them. Jayden walked over to her, carefully pulling her away from the window. "Hey, hey, look at me for a second," He tells her. She turned her head to look at him. "How did you get us out?" He repeated. Megan let out a sigh. "Meg?" Jack started behind them. "I got some help." She admitted. "Help from who? For what? What did you do?" Jerry asked her. She just looked at the triplets with a guilty look in her eyes. "Meg, you didn't," Jayden said, thinking the worst. She quickly shook her head. "No, of course not. I sold them out. The guards. With the money, I stole from my parents." She tells them. The three boys sighed in relief. "I feel horrible." She said quietly. Jack quickly approached the girl and wrapped his arms around her. "You scared the shit out of me." He sighed. Megan smiled as she buried her head in his chest. Their moment was interrupted by the door swinging open behind them.
A sweet girl entered and shut the door behind her quickly. She turned around and looked at the triplets and Megan. "Liz!" Megan said. Jack jumped up. "Wow, wow! Who, what, why are you here?" He rambled. Jerry turned around and met her eyes. "Liz," Jerry spoke quietly. His brothers looked at him and raised their eyebrows in sync. "Hi," Liz replied. "Guys, you know Elizabeth Martin, right?" Megan asked the two other boys. Jayden and Jack kept their eyes focused on their younger brother. It was silent for a few seconds. None of them would move or speak a word. Jerry and Liz could only look at each other in shock. "I should've let you know she was coming over," Megan said quietly. "What is happening?" Jayden asked and pointed at the two lovers standing a few feet apart. Jerry took steps toward her and placed his hand on her cheek as he looked down at her. Liz just looked up at him. One look in her eyes was enough for him to take her in his arms and lift her off the ground. She let the tears roll off her cheeks slowly as she put her face into the crook of his neck. He rested his chin on her shoulder and let out a relieving sigh. "You're okay." He whispered. They stayed like that for a few seconds before Liz pulled away from their embrace. She looked up at him and cupped his face in her hands. "Are you?" She asked. Jerry turned his face to kiss the inside of her hand while keeping eye contact with her and placed his hand over hers. "I'm okay." He assured her. Liz let her hand trail down his chest as she got closer to him. He rested his chin on the top of her head while putting his hands in her hair. Jerry looked up at his brothers who were looking at him with wide eyes and confused looks. He shook his head slightly, telling them to not comment right now. "I love you," Jerry whispered to her and kissed the top of her head. "I love you," Liz tells him. "Dude," they heard two male voices. Jerry only glared at them.
