"You do realize that breaking us out of jail is not helping our case a lot." Jerry reminds Megan. Liz rolled her eyes at him. He gave her a playful grin in response. "Watch your mouth, Salvini." Megan tells him, "I can take you back." She threatened. He held up his hands in response. "Just saying." He said. Megan shook her head and laughed a little. "Anyway, what I was trying to say is, that every department is looking into your cases right now. Wherever they find you, they can put you, boys, on trial again." Megan tells them. "Great, so we're hunted by the entire world now," Jack said, making everyone furrow their eyebrows. "No one said that," Jayden tells his brother. "It's true!" Jack replied.
The eldest triplet moved over to his brother and carefully placed his hand on his shoulder. He gave him a gentle pat. "No, it's not." He said calmly. Jack seemed so confused but also frustrated with his brother's words. The two girls couldn't help but chuckle at the boy's response. "As I said, we need to find something that can help you boys with this case. They're still pressing charges. All of them. Which is not fair, but it's what they did." Megan explained. Jayden looked at her standing next to him. "Any suggestions?" He asks her. Megan turned to Liz for a second. "Well, we had something in mind-" She started. "But it's not very ideal." Liz finished her friend's sentence. Jerry looked at his girlfriend. "Well, a few years ago, they changed a very important restriction in court. Someone who is not a direct witness, but also a family member, is now also allowed to speak. And even bring evidence into the room that could prove your innocence of you in this case." Liz explained to the boys. "This may eventually lead to an acquittal. Especially since the charges aren't all directed at you. Part of the investigation into your father. That will only work against you in the room. But it can help us further with their case." Megan filled in.
"And how are we going to do that?" Jayden asks. "Well, there is one person who was there...well, both times," Megan answered awkwardly. The three boys turned to each other. "Louis?" Jack questions, "Our uncle Louis?" He added. "Do you know another Louis?" Jerry asks his brother. "No, but... you know, I was just saying." He replied awkwardly and scratched the back of his neck. Jayden looked at Megan. "Okay, two things. Number one, Jade and him are not around. And number two, do you think he would help us? He never even tried to get us out of prison." Jayden said. His two brothers looked down. "Besides, he's not our real uncle." The boy reminds the girl. "It's about the principal. Someone close to you is able to bring evidence and defend you. It's not just you and your lawyers against them." Megan tells him. "You are our lawyer." Jayden pointed out. "The point is that you three can get out of this mess." Liz interrupts. The triplets all turned to look at her. "It might also be your only chance to get out of this." She adds. "Great." Jack sighed.
"There isn't anything else we can do?" Jayden asks. The two girls shook their heads. "No, unless all evidence magically disappears and my dad drops all the charges," Megan explained. Jayden puts his hands on the back of his head and sighed. "I still don't understand how this escalated so quickly," Jack said. "Simple. We were stupid enough to leave traces behind for them to track us." Jerry answered. Megan sighed again. "Not to mention that my dad would've done anything to see the Salvini's dead." She said and looked up at Jayden. "Not exactly the type of romance we were looking for." He replied jokingly. He gave her a mischievous smirk. Megan giggled playfully. "Not the time," Liz tells Megan. Jerry glanced up to see his brother Jack looking down a little. He sniffed and rubbed his nose with the back of his hand. "Alright, so, there isn't any other way we can do this?" Jerry questions. "Maybe Jade would've been able to do something. With her in sight on the gang your father was in we might've had some more people working on this. Plus, there's a chance she could have twisted this who story around. Put Eric at a disadvantage." Jerry fills in. "So not unless Meg's dad drops the charges?" Jack asks. His brother shook his head.
"But we all know I'm not going to do that." A male voice said behind them. The group turns around to see Eric standing there. He lifted his arm slowly, revealing a pistol. He aimed a gun at them. A weapon. "Dad, what are you doing?" Megan asks. "Putting an end to all of this." Her father answered, "The cops will be here any minute. To take your bodies." He added. Megan shook her head. She wanted to walk toward him, pull the weapon from his hands, and slap him across the face. Anything. Jack quickly reacted by pulling her back and standing in front of her. Eric immediately pointed the gun at the boy's head. "It's about time." He said.
Jack didn't even put his hands in the air. Neither did Jayden or Jerry. "Shooting us? That's lame, dude." Jayden started, putting on the tough act again. Liz grasped onto the back of Jerry's shirt as he stood in front of her protectively. "Dad, you can't shoot them." Megan tells her father, "Please, dad, don't do this. I'll do anything. Please, don't shoot them." She pleaded. "Megan step away from them." Her father ordered. Behind her, Jayden's front pressed against her back. In front of her, Jack still held her in place with his veiny hands. "Dad, you're not really going to kill them," Megan spoke again. "Listen to your daughter," Jerry added calmly. Eric let out a psychotic chuckle. "I should've shot your whore mother when she was pregnant with you little parasites!" Eric exclaimed.
The triplets' expressions changed. Jack was the first one to jump up. Megan tried to call him back, stop him from attacking the armed man, but couldn't. Eric fired the weapon but missed the boy by an inch. Jack wrapped his hands tightly around the man's throat and forced him into the wall. "Jack, don't!" Megan exclaimed. Jayden moved past her, helping his brother. Eric tried to fire the weapon again. The eldest triplet pulled the pistol from his hands. The man pretty much let go of it as soon as Jack shut off his airways. "Jack, you can let go now," Jerry spoke up. The man started to flutter with his eyes. He tried to push Jack's hands away from his throat. "Jack," both of his brothers said. "He called her a whore." Jack gritted between his teeth. "Jack, let go," Megan said quietly. The boy's hands slipped away from the throat. But Eric didn't have much time to breathe. Jack attacked Eric with his fists and started to beat his face. The man collapsed against the wall behind him. His skin started to get bruised. Blood coming out of his nose. "Jack, stop it!" Megan exclaimed.
Jerry joined in as well and tried to pull his brother away from the man. Jack, in the adrenaline, turned around. He grabbed his brother, holding a strong grip on him, and punched him as well. As hard as he could, right in his throat. "No!" Liz screamed at the top of her lungs. Jerry fell down, his head hitting the ground. "Jack!" Jayden yelled at his brother. He grabbed his brother's shoulders and turned him around. He knocked the poor boy out right then and there. Megan hurried over to the boy, kneeling next to him. He looked up to see Liz on her knees beside Jerry. She cupped his face in her hands. "No, no, no!" she rambled. The youngest triplet was coughing up blood. The bottom part of his face, and parts of his neck, were now covered in his blood. Jayden leaned over to Eric and grabbed the man by his coat. He pulled him off the ground. "We're going to have a little chat." He said in a dark tone. "Jayden," Liz called out to him in a trembling voice. "Later," Jayden added. He let go of his neighbor and made his way over to his brother. He was gasping for air and his eyes were rolled back into his skull. "Jayden," Liz repeated and looked at him. Fear in her eyes.
