Shortly after Yunho's wake Ioda immediately began barking to the handful of drowic soldiers in the room. Because though Jaejoong was subdued the war wasn't over yet.

A groan cuts through everyone's voices and Wooyoung, who was trying to console a shaken up San, snaps his head towards the direction of the pained grunt.

Yeonjun slowly sits up with an annoyed groan, his eyes squinted and hair disheveled. His clothes were covered with sand, dirt and blood after having just sat up on the dirty cave floor. "Fuck.."

Wooyoung simply rolls his eyes and mutters, "Of course you're alive"

Yeonjun turns his head towards Wooyoung, then looks around taking in the dead bodies and stone covered witches around the catacomb. He sees Jaejoong's body on the floor with a dagger sticking out of his chest. Then he smiles. "There's nothing more satisfying than outsmarting someone that thinks they're smarter than everyone else" He runs his hand through his messy hair.

"How'd you survive?" Hongjoong steps up to him as the heretic pulls himself to his feet.

"A magician never reveals his secrets" His expression was coy. "I told you didn't I? I only look after myself. I always have a backup. And a backup to that backup. A backup to... well, you get the point" He smirks.

Ioda turns to address the vampires, informing them what the next plan of action was but Hongjoong heard little of what was being said. His attention was on Seonghwa who still hadn't moved from his position on the floor, holding his sister's corpse tight against his chest and rocking back and forth.

He thought about walking up to the werewolf to console him. Would I be crossing a line? I mean it's not like we're best friends or anything, obviously I don't like him, but that doesn't make me a heartless monster. I still feel horrible he'd lost his sister.

So he found himself walking towards Seonghwa before he could fully process the thought. He squats in front him. "Hey" Was all he starts with, his brows furrowed with empathy and his grey eyes watches Seonghwa.

The werewolf had his head dipped down, his dark brown messy hair fell forward and coverex his eyes. But Hongjoong could still see the tears glistening on his wet cheeks. His nose leaking with snot. His chapped lips were parted slightly. He was mess.

"I'm sorry about your sister" Hongjoong continues in a soft voice when Seonghwa doesn't acknowledge his presence. The werewolf remains still. He doesn't look up at Hongjoong, doesn't say anything or moves a muscle.

"I-" Hongjoong was hesitant to continue. It was obvious he didnt want to talk to him. But he tries again. "I heard her say your brother was hurt and in the woods somewhere. I can help find him." He reaches forward to gently touch his arm and Seonghwa immediately flinches away, he growls and glares up at Hongjoong. His eyes a brighter iridescent grey and nose scrunched. His wolf fangs bared. He looked like a beast ready to pounce despite the tears around his eyes.
