"Nobody really tells you this, but sometimes healing hurts more than the wound."

"You need a break," Rebekah spoke up as she placed a grilled cheese in front of Penelope, who smiled up at her. Then Rebekah placed a glass of orange juice next to the plate.
"Thanks," She said, closing the journal as she slid the plate closer to her. It was cut diagonally just how she liked it. Once Elijah cut it down the middle and she made him make her a new one because it was cut wrong. He thought she was ridiculous, but she swore diagonally cut sandwiches hit differently.
"So, I was thinking about having seafood tonight," Rebekah started as she sat next to Penelope at the bar. Penelope's face scrunched up as she chewed her sandwich and she shook her head.
"No, I'm not in the mood for seafood."
"Since when!? You can always go for seafood."
"I know, but I'm in the mood for nachos!" Penelope exclaimed with a smile. "Like shredded chicken nachos with a lot of cheese and meat! Yum. There's that place across the street at that mall, El Jalisco, I bet they have killer nachos."
"You've been wanting the strangest things," Rebekah frowned and Penelope shrugged her shoulders. "I mean you wanted Waffle House last night at ten p.m. after you wanted a cheeseburger two hours earlier."
"I know it's weird."
"You still throw up every day too," Rebekah pointed out and Penelope nodded in defeat.
"I know...I was hoping the nausea would go away by now. I guess I'll have to talk to the doctor about that when I see her. I mean it could all also be psychological too," Penelope shrugged as she continued to eat her grilled cheese. "Thank you for this by the way, how did you know I've been craving one?"
"Because you mentioned it earlier," Rebekah answered simply. "You said it while you were writing one of the simple pages again. You said that Elijah would make you a grilled cheese while you're on your period and how you wanted one since you haven't had one in a while."
"Oh, right...thank you!" Penelope smiled at her again as she continued to eat.
"So, what are you working through now?" Rebekah asked curiously.
"One of the many sex memories," Penelope replied hesitantly. "God, did they have sex all the time? It just seems like there's just memory after memory!"
"No, well... often but...not nearly as much as you two do that's for sure."
"Really?" Penelope asked seriously after she took a sip of her orange juice. Another weird craving she's had. "Then....how come almost every memory I have me and Elijah having sex is of her and Elijah instead?" Penelope asked, frowning. At least she thought it was. Every time she thought about her and Elijah in bed, Celeste's memories would come to mind. Or when Elijah would have sex with her against the wall or book cases, Celeste would come to mind; but every time Penelope would think about how they had sex on their couch, or the stairs, or the hallway because they couldn't make it up to their bed, or even in their library....Celeste's memories never appeared. She looked down at her journal and began scanning the pages of Celeste's memories and feelings and then slammed her sandwich down on the plate. "That bitch!"
Rebekah's eyes widened as she watched Penelope in shock and wonder. "What?"
"Her and Elijah never had sex this many times," Penelope shook her head. "Or in the exact same way as Elijah and I. Read these and tell me what you see!" Penelope told her as she shoved the journal into Rebekah's hands. Rebekah scanned the pages, flipping through them and then flipping back.
