Penelope sighed as she followed after the man who worked at the storage facility in Richmond. She had decided to go to one to rent one however when she arrived they had said they already had one under the name Mikaelson and asked if she'd like to use that one, and Penelope figured might as well unless the unit was too full or too small. She didn't see the harm in it, if Elijah already had one then she didn't see the point in renting a whole other unit if she didn't have too.

After calming down last night, Penelope had started working on her grandmother's room but as soon as she entered it, she started crying and went to her own room where she threw old books, the glass vase that originally held the first flowers Elijah ever bought her, and a few other things she had laying around. She wasn't paying attention and had sliced her hand open on some glass but Elijah took her to the bathroom and cleaned her up as her hand healed. He told her to relax on the couch while he brought things out into the living room. All she could do was nod as she sat there, rubbing her bump. She knew that this was also stressing the baby out because she could feel him being restless. By the time Elijah managed to get most things out of the bedroom it was late and since Penelope's room was trashed he said they should get a room in Richmond while they're here and staying in the house right now wouldn't be healthy for her.

So this morning, Elijah had rented a uhaul and Penelope laughed when she saw him get into it to drive, and she took a picture of him in it. He would've told her no, but she was smiling and after the previous night he would've done anything to see her smile and laugh. So, Penelope took the rental car and was now in the storage facility. She said she'd meet Elijah at the house later.

"Here you go, Mrs. Mikaelson," The man said as he unlocked storage unit and lifted the door for her. She went inside and turned on the light and frowned in confusion as she looked around before turning back to him.

"This...is the right one?"

"Unit 4349: Mikaelson, Elijah," The man read from the sheet of paper on his clipboard.

"But," She sighed as she looked around the large unit. All that was in it was long chest that was placed against the wall to her side.

"Will you be needing a different unit?"

"No," She shook her head. "This...is fine. Uh, give me a few minutes please? I may need help getting this to my car."

"Alright, I'll be down here if you need me," He told her and she gave him a smile and a nod.

Penelope waited until he walked away before going to the chest and opening the lid. What was inside wasn't something she had expected to see, she honestly didn't know what Elijah would keep in a storage unit. She reached down and pulled out a very familiar sheathed dagger that was decorated with jewels, pulling on the hilt she unsheathed it and looked at herself in the reflection of the blade. Sheathing it again, she placed it back down then pulled out a black box, when she opened it she gasped at the beautiful celtic four leave clover and pearl necklace. It looked old, old enough to belong in a museum.

She quickly closed it and put it back in the chest then grabbed another black box and when she opened it, the breath left her lungs. Inside it was a another necklace, it wasn't made of expensive jewels or gold or even pearls... this was so simple. A string, and blue and gold stone with a giant 'X' with two open arrow's on either side of it, carved into the stone. This looked old, not just old but...ancient. It looked almost as old as...Elijah's daylight ring. Penelope knew immediately what this was, whose it was originally. She closed the box, a loud snap echoed the empty storage unit and she looked at the other items in the box. There were only eight pieces in the chest that she could see, as one of the pieces was a very old jewelry box.
