Jisung stood in disorientation outside Minho's door. The very same door he'd been dragged through eight days before.
Having thoughts of Minho was dangerous, especially as he was probably the only person who could fight Jisung and win. It was scary. It was scary that he'd only met him like three times but he felt as comfortable with him like he was with Lix...but just as uncomfortable seeing as he could find out that Jisung killed people for a job.
And now, standing outside Minho's door, he was scared.
'Minho is unpredictable! I have every right to be uncomfortable!'
Minho opened the door and saw Jisung and his friends. "Come in. Hyunjin isn't here, he's coming later."
He had a small polite smile that looked put on, and his eyes looked cold as they locked with Jisung. Something in them made Jisung put his head down.
.............
They all sat in the enormous living room, an awkward silence hung over the boys. Minho's presence lacked warmness and sociableness, but Jisung noticed he was getting eyed up by him. Jisung crossed his arms and his eyes flicked away.
"Changbin. Why don't you show Felix around. Jisung had already been here."
His friend jumped up. "Oh yeah! Lix we each have a bedroom here just like with mine and Hyunjin's place."
Felix's eyes widened and he cast a glance at Jisung before following Changbin away.
The tension in the room only grew heavier and worse as Minho crossed the floor and sat next to Jisung on the heavily padded sofa.
Jisung avoided his gaze as a flood of panicked thoughts entered his brain. 'Great great great great, he's wearing that earring again. Trust me to notice that.'
"Jisung."
"Hello." Jisung replied guardedly.
"Have you recovered?" Minho asked, curious to know how Jisung was. He just...needed to know.
"Yeah. I took some days off the cafe."
Suddenly Minho grabbed his hand and he jumped at the sudden movement. Like before, he noticed he hadn't reacted like he did usually. It was like his guard was down and it...it's Minho.
"You're acting so awkward you know that?" Minho said, casually examining his hand. "Not as mean as you were when I saw you last time."
'That was before I started having weird dreams about you.'
"I mean come on Jisung. I saw you last week, how do you manage to hurt yourself so much."
Minho ran a finger across the ugly cut on Jisung's hand. The cut from pulling the blade from the floor.
Jisung was speechless.
"That..." he stared at the cut and snatched his hand away. Minho's touched unnerved him.
"Long story, I sliced it on a knife, but I can't even feel it so I forgot about it."
Minho took his hand again. "Did you treat it?"
"No."
Sighing, Minho took his wrist and dragged him to the kitchen. Unsurprisingly there was a first aid kit on the counter and Jisung was made to sit down.
Carefully taking his hand, Minho cleaned it and wrapped a bandage around the deep wound, being gentle the entire time.
Jisung didn't speak and watched silently as Minho worked with experience.
Finally he said. "Your hands..."
Minho glanced down at his knuckles where they were bruised and cut from punching the bag too hard.
"They're fine." He said bluntly.
They went back to the living room and sat down in silence again. Jisung remembered the bag he had brought. "I have your clothes.. I mean I brought them back."
"Keep them." Minho smiled and shrugged.
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah."
Minho moved closer and took Jisung's hand again.
"You look kinda stressed, have you been resting properly?"
Jisung thought guiltily of the frequent, secret trips to the gym and nodded. "Yes."
The warmth of Minhos hand melted through the bandage and he felt something stir in his gut. It felt good.
Minho saw him staring at their entwined hands and smirked. He intended to get back at Jisung for ignoring him, and he knew how.
He locked their fingers together and Jisung looked around nervously like he was searching for Felix and Changbin to come back. He was in fact doing that.
'FELIX, CHANGBIN, SOMEONE!'
He raised his eyes and glared at Minho. "What do you want!"
Minho acknowledged a hint of his usual attitude and smiled. "Don't you remember?" He was sitting uncomfortably close on the sofa now.
"I said...the next time I see you, it wouldn't be on your cheek." He cupped Jisung's face and laughed at the cuteness.
Jisung swallowed as he clearly remembered what Minho meant.
"Oh yeahhh, that was a while ago-..."
His eyes darted around, looking for an excuse to escape.
Minho turned his head so they were looking at each other directly. "Don't ever ignore me." He said softly.
'Ignore him? Like I did last time? Is that why he's annoyed?'
Jisung resisted a mocking smile at the childish behaviour, but it faded and he saw how serious Minho looked. He felt his bandaged hand being gently squeezed and Minho drew closer.
He almost squeaked as soft lips hit his own. Something rushed through his whole body and clouded his thoughts.
Minho continued to kiss him softly, daring him to push him away but Jisung couldn't move an inch. That single moment it was just them. This is what he had been thinking about all week. This is why he felt so flustered thinking about Minho, because out of all people, a gang leader had pushed past his cold exterior and problems and make him clumsy and awkward. Not even Felix won him over in a week. But this idiot had appeared so suddenly and abruptly and upset everything.
The day I wrote this, maxident came out ✨✨
