CHAPTER TWELVE !

.*

IN THIS LIFE, WHEN you lose something, you just had to get over it and move on. it wasn't easy, but it was life now. it was hard for estella to just get over tommy, but she had to. her life wouldn't be the same without him, though. from the one second she was brought home after birth, tommy was there. he was her best friend until he died. the last thing he ever did to her was kiss her, the same as when he first saw her.

they buried him properly, just like daryl said. beth sang a song for him, which made estella cry even more. maggie was there for her, like always. she picked her up and hugged her until she couldn't cry anymore. they made him a small head stone, and put his collar next to it. it was nice.

she sat at the table now, eating some fruit that lori had got her, along with isabella and carl. lori was just about going to burst at any given moment. it was a waiting game for her.

hershal needed to be back on his feet, or things would go incredibly wrong with the birth if not. the last thing anybody wanted was to lose lori or the baby - or both.

"can i go and get some fresh air? i don't feel too good." estella said, pushing her bowl away from her.

"you don't? what's wrong?" lori asked.

"i just feel a little sick." she said, rubbing her stomach. "can i? i think i just need to stand outside for a little bit."

"okay, yeah. just go straight to rick, daryl, glenn, maggie, carol, or t, alright? don't go anywhere they aren't." she said.

estella nodded, and got up. she made her way outside to where everyone else was. she shouted daryl, running up to him. he picked her up, confused as to why she was outside alone.

"hey, what you doin' out here?" daryl asked.

"i don't feel so good. lori said i can come out here and get some fresh air because you're out here." she replied.

"ya don't feel so good?" daryl questioned.

she shook her head. "no, i feel a little sick. i think it's 'cause i miss tommy. i felt sick since he died."

"it's alright, ya can stay out here for a couple minutes with me. you gotta go back in soon, though. we got a lot to do." he said, she nodded.

"hey, rick." t-dog suddenly said, making rick turn around, along with the others.

the two prisoners, axel and oscar were walking out, making their way towards everyone. daryl gripped estella a little tighter, not wanting her to be in any kind of danger.
