CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND NINE !

When daryl heard estella scream, he quickly got up with carol by his side. everyone began to run in the direction of the noise. when he heard it, he knew that something bad had happened. she didn't scream like that unless she had to. he held both of his knives in his hands, seeing a whisperer. he stabbed it in the head as the others fought off some more. estella was nowhere to be seen as they did it. jack was trying to look for her, but he could not see her.

he stabbed a whisperer through it's eye, before grabbing another and slamming it up to the wall by the neck, holding his knife in the whisperer's face. jack glared at it, a threatening look in his eye as the whisperer breathed heavily, trying to stay calm.

"where is she?" he asked, squeezing the neck harder. they didn't reply, so he slammed it into the wall, yelling, "where is she?!"

"alpha. the girl is with alpha." the whisperer smirked.

"where is alpha takin' her?" daryl asked her, threateningly.

"she's in the cave. you won't find her," she smiled. "i won't tell you. you may as well kill me. i will never betray alpha."

with that, daryl stabbed the whisperer straight in the head. he had to find estella. he had no idea where she was, or what alpha was going to do to her. for all he knew, estella could've been thrown into the horde. her head could be on a spike, anything could've happened to her. he was worried. he needed her to be alive.

"let's go. we gotta find esty." daryl said, running through some of the cave, before they all stopped, and connie started signing.

"if we don't follow each other in the dark, we're going to get split up." kelly translated.

"she's right. we stick together." carol nodded.

"at least we know there's a way out now." aaron shrugged.

"yeah, but where?" magna asked.

"i think they went this way," jerry said, pointing. "maybe they took estella that way. probably our best chance of finding her."

"you see where they went?" daryl asked.

"not exactly, but i know a road sign when i see one." he replied, pointing to an arrow carved in the cave wall.

daryl nodded and walked into the direction of the arrow, the hand still in his hand, lit on fire as a torch. everyone followed behind him. he didn't even care about the way out anymore. all he cared about was finding estella and making sure she was okay.
