CHAPTER FIFTY EIGHT !

Maggie was extremely sick. she needed to get to hilltop for medical attention immediately. estella sat next to her in the rv, her hand on maggie's shoulder just for that extra bit of comfort. it was all estella could give her in that moment. a little bit of comfort. that's all she could do, it wasn't enough, but it was okay.

alexandria was prepared for an attack from the saviours after what happened to denise. everyone in the rv was also prepared for what would happen on the road if they were to bump into the saviours. estella was nervous. the last thing they needed was to bump into the saviours when maggie was knocking on death's door.

"we're gonna get there. the doctor at the hilltop, he's gonna make things better." rick reassured maggie as he kneeled on the floor in front of her.

"how do you know?" maggie asked as rick stroked her hair.

"everything we've done, we've done together. we got here together, we're still here. things have happened but it's always worked out for us 'cause it's always been all of us. that's how i know. 'cause as long as it's all of us, we can do anything."

rick gave maggie one last smile, and walked out. carl walked in not long after, sitting oppsite them. estella gave him a smile, which he returned.

leaving the two of them alone to speak, estella got up and walked out of the rv's bedroom. she walked to the front of the rv, where sasha and abraham were. she hadn't spoke to sasha since the day she got back from helping louise. she didn't plan on doing so, either. she liked abraham, though, so she sat near them.

"what the shit?" abraham said, looking in the distance.

estella stood up, wondering what he was talking about. there was cars on the road, and people stood in front of them. a man laid in front of the people, estella didn't know if the person was dead or not. she sucked in a breath. this was definitely the saviours.

"what?" rick asked, coming out.

"enemy close." abraham replied. "we doin' this?"

"no." rick replied, before walking out of the rv through the door.

everyone began to pile out of the rv, so estella picked her hat up and put it on, following behind carl. rick put his hands up in surrender, everyone followed in his lead, so estella did too. her crossbow was on her back, not in her hands.

the man at the front looked down at the man on the floor, and then back up at the group. "he's someone who was with a whole lot of someone's that didn't listen."
