(A/N: Here it is! The 25k Reads Oneshot Special! First special oneshot of the new book! Exciting! Now, on with the oneshot!)

To make it up to us for being Captain Blood, Coach Bombay decided that instead of practice we would have a beach day. The entire team was excited but especially me. I loved the beach so much and we're spending the entire day there.

"Alright, everyone meet back here at noon for lunch!" Coach Bombay called out as the team split off in several directions.

Charlie, Luis, Guy, Julie, Adam and Connie ran right for the water while Jesse, and I plopped our things down in the sand, spreading out towels. Dwayne, Fulton, Dean, and Averman went straight for the beach volleyball court drawn in the sand.

Everyone was having a great time. I was reading a magazine on one of the towels when a shadow blocked my light.

       "Hey, cutie."

I looked up and had to stop myself from rolling my eyes. It was one of those Iceland goons. Jesse looked up as well before scowling.

"Get lost, man." Jesse said, waving the guy off.

"I'm not talking to you. I'm talking to cutie here." The goon said. He sat down in the sand next to me but I scooted closer to my friend. "Oh come on. Don't be like that."

"Do you mind? I'm trying to relax with my friends." I said finally.

He didn't like that if the frown on his face indicated. "Well, why don't you ditch this loser and come relax with me."

"Take the hint, dude. Y/N doesn't want to hang with you." Jesse said, throwing his arm around me. A light blush crossed my face at the gesture as I had a tiny crush on Jesse.

Looking between me and Jesse, the goon finally scoffed and got up and walked away.

"Thanks." I said, looking at Jesse.

       "No problem." He said back.

"Hey, Y/N! Jesse! Come swim with us!"

We turned to see the others all now in the water goofing around. Even Coach was in the water! Looking at each other again, it was a split second before both Jesse and I were running to the water.

As we all played, I couldn't keep my laughter at bay. Dean, Julie, Fulton, and Dwayne were having a splash fight that quickly got the attention of the others and before I knew it, we were all having an all out splash brawl. It got a bit out of hand when the Bash Brothers started throwing the others into the water but Coach was quick to rein them in.

After everyone calmed down, it was time for lunch. Coach grilled up some hot dogs and hamburgers for us all to eat. Averman wound up dropping his hot dog in the sand much to everyone's amusement. He just shrugged it off with a smile.

Lunch was over and it was time for the sand castle building contest. Everyone broke off into groups of three and the contest was on. I was paired with Luis and Connie and our sand castle was looking great. Just as we were finishing up, though, a huge wave came and destroyed everyone's castles. We all yelled out in disappointment but wound up laughing at our soggy sculptures. Coach gathered us all together and we took a group picture with our failures.

It wasn't long before the sun started to set. It was starting to get cold and we were all exhausted. Coach finally decided it was time to call it a day and we all piled into the van, ready to head back to the team dorms.

"Did you guys have a good time?" Coach Bombay asked us.

We all made noises of agreement, too tired to give real responses. I wound up falling asleep on Averman's shoulder on the ride back. It was a great day.

(A/N: A little different than my usual oneshot but I like it! I tried to feature Jesse a little more than the others since he was the tie winner with the Platonic Group Fic option. Did you lovelies like it? Let me know in the comments! Remember, requests are open until the end of the month so send them in if you got 'em! That's all for now! Until next time! Thanks!!)
