(A/N: This oneshot was requested by AshTray367. I hope you like it! The song in the title is a reference to the song of the same name by Elton John, Stevie Wonder, Dionne Warwick, and Gladys Knight. Now, on with the oneshot!)

I tapped my pencil against my notebook as I waited for either Fulton or Dean to give me an answer. We'd been studying for hours and had barely gotten past the first few questions. I knew neither of them were good at math but I didn't know it was this bad.

"Come on, guys. You know this stuff." I said, dropping my pencil.

I turned in my chair to look at them and wasn't surprised to see them both goofing off. Dean had a pencil balanced on his lip and Fulton was timing him with his watch. I sighed before reaching forward and snatching the pencil away. Both boys looked at me disappointedly before going back to their books.

"I don't know, Y/N. Is it 24?" Dean asked, slouching in his chair.

       "24? I got 496!" Fulton said, exasperated.

"Neither of you are even close to the right answer." I said. I watched both of their faces fall and felt a pain in my heart. "Come on. Let's try again."

I reread the problem to them and watched them both scribble in their notebooks. When they were both done, however, they still hadn't gotten the answer correct. I sadly shook my head at them and they both slammed their notebooks closed.

"This is hopeless, Y/N." Fulton said, dejectedly.

"Yeah. We're going to fail and then it's bye-bye hockey." Dean said, nearly throwing his pencil down on the table.

"You're not going to fail. I won't let that happen!" I said. I grabbed my text book and moved my chair closer to the two of them. "Let's find where you both are going off the rails. You both start out perfectly but once you get here, you both skid out of control." I circled where they were running into issues on their notebooks.

"Let's face it. We're never going to get this! We're just too dumb!" Dean said with Fulton nodding along.

"You guys are not dumb! You're just having some trouble! It happens to everyone!" I said, emphatically.

The two just looked at me unconvinced. I sighed and closed my text book. "Remember when I was having trouble with History?"

"Yeah. The three of us stayed up all night the night before the mid-term going over dates." Fulton said, sitting up in his chair slightly.

"We must have gone over the same section a million times." Dean said, playfully pushing my shoulder.

"Right. I was ready to give up but you guys wouldn't let me. And now I'm not gonna let you two give up either." I said, smiling at the both of them.

"...Do you really think we can do it, Y/N?" Dean asked, quietly.

"I know you can." I said. "Now, come on. Once more."

With new determination, the three of us reopened our books and the Bash Brothers got to work. It took a few more tries but eventually both Fulton and Dean arrived at the right answer!

"That's right! You did it!" I said, excitedly.

Both boys 'whoop'ed and high fived. We did a few more equations and even though it took a few tries, they both eventually got the right answer again and again. Before I knew it, Fulton and Dean were getting the answer right on the first try. I'm not sure how but it seemed to finally click in their heads.

"Yes! We did it!" Fulton shouted.

He and Dean pushed back their chairs and all but tackled me in a hug. I laughed out loud as the three of us tumbled to the floor.

"Thanks, Y/N!" Dean said, kissing my cheek.

"Yeah, thanks for not giving up on us." Fulton said, kissing my other cheek.

I blushed slightly at the attention but relished in the hug nonetheless.

"You're welcome, guys. I couldn't play hockey without my favorite Bash Brothers." I said.

The three of us stood up and decided to go for pizza to celebrate their triumph over math. I was glad to see both boys so confident in themselves again. It was a prefect way to end the day.

(A/N: Thanks again to AshTray367 for the request! I'm sorry it took so long! I hope you liked it! Requests are open so send yours in! That's all for now! Until next time! Thanks!!)
