(A/N: This oneshot was requested by Karr3on_7. I hope you like it! The song in the title is a reference to the song of the same name by The Pretenders. Now, on with the oneshot!)

       The chiming of the clock in the Conway's living room reached my ears as I stretched my arms above my head from my seated position on Charlie's bed. It was officially midnight and Charlie and I had just finished studying for our upcoming history test. Charlie had gone to the kitchen to get us something to eat while I put my books away into my backpack.

       Laying back on Charlie's bed, I closed my eyes. It had been a long day of studying and I was exhausted. I shifted onto my side with my back to the door as I felt myself beginning to drift off to sleep. Before I could, however, the door to Charlie's door opened.

       "We're in luck! My mom just went shopping so- oh, you're asleep." Charlie said.

       I kept my eyes closed as I listened to him move around his room. I heard him move his own books to his desk before I felt the bed dip next to me. My boyfriend wrapped his arm around me and snuggled into my side and I had to stop the smile that would have found its way onto my face.

       "I had a really great time with you today, Y/N. I know all we did was study but I still loved every minute of it. Hell, we could have done nothing but stare at each other all day and I would have loved it." Charlie whispered.

       I subtly snuggled in closer to him as he fell silent. I thought he had fallen asleep when I felt him place a kiss on my cheek. Then another. Then another but this time on my neck. This time I couldn't keep the smile from my lips. I let out a small, contented sigh which got Charlie's attention.

       "Y/N? You awake?" Charlie whispered, leaving his spot on my neck to look at my face.

       I kept my eyes closed and laid still. I could feel Charlie's gaze on me and it was hard not to give myself away but eventually he laid back down and snuggled his face back into my neck.

       "You know, if you were awake, we could make out. My mom's already gone to bed so no one would disturb us..." Charlie whispered, trailing off at the end.

       That was enough for me. I slowly opened my eyes and turned myself so we were facing each other on the bed. I was met by a cheeky smile from my boyfriend as I settled back down.

       "I knew you were awake!" Charlie said with a laugh.

       "Oh you did, did you?" I questioned with a smile.

       "Yeah. When you're really asleep, you snore like a foghorn." Charlie said, cheekily.

       "I do not!" I said, indignantly. I shoved his shoulder softly as he laughed.

       "Do too!" Charlie said back.

       "Just shut up and kiss me." I said, rolling my eyes.

       "Can do, Snowflake." Charlie said.

       He quickly leaned in a caught my lips with his. I sighed into the kiss as our lips moved lazily over the others. Charlie wrapped his arms back around me and pulled me in close. We kissed for a few more minutes before we had to break apart for air.

       "Do not." I said, earning a laugh from Charlie.

       We went to lean in again when my pager went off. Knowing it was my mother wondering where I was, I sighed and dropped my head onto Charlie's pillow.

       "Do you have to go?" Charlie asked with a pout.

       "Well, I could call my mom and tell her I'm staying over at Connie's?" I suggested. A smirk found it's way onto Charlie's lips.

      "I'll grab the phone for you." Charlie said, sneaking one more kiss.

       After calling my mom, Charlie and I snuggled down into his bed again. After a few more kisses, we hunkered down in each other's arms and drifted off into a blissful sleep.
