beauty pageant with the ducks (requested)

(A/N: This imagine was requested by badbitch_279. I hope you like it!)

       "And our last finalist is...Y/N L/N!"

       Butterflies erupted in my stomach as I heard my name called. I made my way to the front with the other two finalists of the beauty pageant and grabbed the second finalist's outstretched hand. I could hear my friends in the audience cheering for me and couldn't help the huge smile that spread across my face.

       "Our second runner up is...Lorraine Cromwell!" The announcer called out. 

       The girl who was holding my hand stepped forward and accepted a medium sized bouquet of flowers before walking off to the side. I grabbed the hand of the girl next to me and held on tight. It was just the two of us now! The announcer was handed an envelope and the crowd grew silent.

       "And now, the moment you've all been waiting for. The winner of this year's Miss Minneapolis Teen USA is...Y/N L/N!!" The announcer called.

       I let out a small gasp as a tiara was placed on my head and a big bouquet of flowers was placed in my arms. I hugged the first runner up as I heard my friends absolutely screaming their heads off for me. I laughed as I turned to wave at the audience and saw the Ducks all giving me a standing ovation, clapping their hands and stomping their feet.

       As I walked out from backstage after taking photos, now dressed in more comfortable clothes, I was greeted by a round of applause from the Ducks. I blushed and curtseyed which got a laugh from them.

       "Congratulations, Y/N!" Adam said, stepping forward with a pretty impressive bouquet of flowers for me.

       "Thanks. You guys didn't have to get me flowers. I mean, you didn't even know if I'd win." I said, accepting the flowers, bashfully.

       "Of course you were going to win, Y/N." Charlie said, rolling his eyes like it was the most obvious thing in the world. I laughed at his antics before gathering all my friends in a group hug. 

       Whether it's on the ice or in a beauty pageant, Ducks fly together.
