(A/N: This oneshot was requested by AshTray367. I hope you like it! The song in the title is a reference to the song of the same name by Rufus Wainwright. Now, on with the oneshot!)

I put my suitcase down on my bed and immediately started unpacking. I'd just gotten back to school from spending Christmas at home. I'd had such a great time! It was nice seeing all my family and hometown friends. I was sad to leave but happy to be back with the Ducks and my boyfriend, Dean, who should be here any minute. A knock at my door interrupted my thoughts. I rushed to the door and flung it open.

"Babe!" Dean exclaimed, grabbing me and picking me up in a hug.

I laughed as he twirled me around in a circle. "Hey! I missed you so much!"

Dean put me down and gave me a deep kiss. I kissed back with fervor. As we pulled apart, I grabbed his hand and dragged him into my room.

"How was your trip home?" Dean asked, sitting on my bed after moving my suitcase to the floor.

"It was great!" I said happily. I launched into a story about all the things I'd done while we were apart, animatedly talking with my hands. Dean watched me with a fond smile, nodding along and asking questions when necessary. "But enough about my trip. What about yours? How was your family?"

I felt Dean stiffen beside me and I looked at his ridged posture confusedly.

"Um, well, my trip was okay. Saw my family. Saw some old friends. It was okay." Dean said with a shrug. "I'd rather hear more about your trip."

I smiled sadly at my boyfriend. I knew he hadn't been looking forward to going home for the holiday. He didn't have a great relationship with his parents like I did with my own. When they weren't yelling at him, they were yelling at each other. I placed a sympathetic hand on Dean's shoulder.

"Was it bad?" I asked, knowing he'd know what I meant.

"Yeah." Dean said, looking down at his hands. "They fought nearly the whole time I was there. If it wasn't one thing, it was another. I spent a lot of time out with friends because I didn't want to be around it. And then when I finally was home, they'd yell at me for not being home enough."

"Aw, babe." I said, not really knowing what else to say.

Dean looked back up at me and smiled wryly. "Well, at least I don't have to see them again until the summer time now."

I felt my heart break for my boyfriend. I felt so terrible for him. I wished he could have a good relationship with his parents but I knew after so many years of yelling and fighting, it just wasn't meant to be. I squeezed his shoulder in comfort.

       "I'm sorry." I said, softly.

"Me too." Dean said, taking my hand from his shoulder and giving it a squeeze. "I'm starved. Want to get some pizza?"

       "Sure." I said, squeezing back.

We didn't talk about his trip home after that, knowing he'd rather focus on my trip than his own. I understood. I just hoped that someday things would work out for him. Until then, I'd be right by his side through it all.

(A/N: Thanks again to AshTray367 for the request! Here's three of three! I hope you liked it! Sorry it's a little short! Requests are open for the rest of December so send yours in while you can! That's all for now! Until next time! Thanks!!)
