"What?! You're leaving so soon."

Jennie shoved some rolled up tubes of paper that had her designs into Chaeyoung's arms. "I finished my part and more. I handed my resignation letter in."

Chaeyoung's jaw dropped hating how when Jennie made up her mind, she made up her mind.

"Where are you going?!" Chaeyoung yells, watching Jennie run down the hall.

"Home, I have a plane to catch! It's our 5 year anniversary!" The brunette yells back without turning around, voice echoing from the walls.

"We're talking when I get home Jennie Unnie!" Chaeyoung yelled, sighing when she set the tubes of paper on the floor.

Jennie had a smile on her lips thinking about returning home early from her trip, it had only been 3 days since she first landed. Her steps quickened and she wheeled her luggage into the hotel lobby.

The next couple of video calls she had with Jisoo were similar to the first night Jennie was in Korea were like that for the next couple of days.

It didn't fail to make Jennie's mornings a lot better when she reminisced about it.

So when their anniversary happened to fall on the week she was on her trip, Jennie made an effort to cut it short, just to go back and surprise the blonde.

When she landed back home she called the police department, asking one of Jisoo's colleagues if she was still at the office and to her surprise, Jisoo wasn't.

Nonetheless it still made Jennie a lot more cautious of not wanting to ruin the surprise.

On the way back to their apartment she picked up the wrist watch that was custom made as a gift for Jisoo. She couldn't stop wondering what the Lieutenant got her.

She eagerly opened the door quietly, poking her head through. Just as she closed the door, she noticed the apartment hadn't really changed much since she left.

Jennie thought maybe the reason was because Jisoo had a habit of staying in their room for long periods of times, laying in bed doing nothing but play games and watch videos.

After all, she is the coveted self proclaimed home fairy.

She set the takeout containers on the kitchen island, putting the cake in the fridge.

The puppies were sleeping soundly in their beds and Jennie opened the door to the room.

Blankets were still unmade, pillows all over the place in the bed and a couple of Jisoo's clothes were draped along their chair.

Jennie picked up her phone, scrolling past every contact finding the blonde.

Jennie: What are you up to?

When the younger one laid on the messy bed, her eyes started to close. The lingering smell of her lover's perfume were on the bed sheets with a hint of lavender she thought was new.

The jet lag had caught up to her and soon she fell asleep, waiting for Jisoo to come back.

The sound of laughing and a low voice in the living room caused Jennie to stir, but when the voice started to get louder and closer to her she couldn't react fast enough to figure it out in her head before the door opened and Jisoo came in, phone near her ear the Lieutenant was startled when she saw Jennie in bed.

"J-Jennie? When did you get back?" She asked, phone lowering she pocketed it and strolled over to her.

Jennie merely whined, sinking into the sheets she started making animalistic grunts, displeased with how she woke up.
