The Lieutenant was outside the next morning with Chaeyoung and Joohyun planting pretty flowers in their backyard of their soon to be home.
It was coming together very nicely and quickly because the twins were due in a month.
They had to have their house ready.
"Move it to the left! Try to mix the colours please!" Jennie shouted at the girls.
The three turned around a little frown on the trios face because working in the blistering sun while taking orders from a pregnant lady laying on the chair wasn't exactly 'nice.'
"Can you believe she can boss us around and there's nothing we can do about it?" Joohyun muttered. She then scoffed. "Well, I'm used to it she was my boss."
"How do you think I feel? She was my 'boss' too, still is and I live with her." The Lieutenant muttered, helping Joohyun reposition the flowers to the other side.
Chaeyoung shook her head, she had her hands on her hips staring back at Jennie who was lounging around bossing everyone around as Jennie's happy little self was sipping some lemonade underneath shade.
"We can't say no. Do we really want a pregnant woman yelling at us?"
Jisoo shook her head in horror, squatting down and hiding behind Chaeyoung. "Don't do it, it's not worth it, trust me. I've been kicked out of the room twice this week because she said my snoring was annoying."
The others were putting together a small playground for the kids, they had just finished setting up the fencing around the backyard.
They all wanted to pitch in and help, it was because of the novelty of working together and upgrading the huge house because it was 'fun.'
Plus, the couple fed everyone that helped. Sometimes they had spontaneous sleepovers too.
The couple insisted they could do it themselves and were going to hire some actual professionals for some stuff, but like all great friends they came anyways.
"Look at Jennie sipping her juice like she's the queen and we're the peasants." Jiyoung said with his hands on his hips, squinting at the tiny designer being kissed by the Lieutenant on the head.
"We are her peasants." Bobby pointed out, holding the rope. "My hands have blisters on them but I'm going to give my god children the best tire swing in the world."
Jiyoung side eyed him. "I'm the god parent.. who said you were going to be?"
"Gut instincts." Bobby said, his chin held up high.
"Shut the fuck up, I am. Jisoo said it herself." Hoony butted in, pointing to himself.
While they were fighting, the Lieutenant was helping Lisa grill meat on the barbecue.
"Jisoo!" Jennie shouted, wanted the Lieutenants attention but the officer thought she could wait.
"Jichu!" She said again, even more loud than before.
The Lieutenant was fiddling with the gas, trying to figure out the optimal settings and when she felt something thrown at her back she snapped and turned around.
"What?!"
The designers face turned sour, a small frown started to grow before Jennie had teary eyes and her nose plus her cheek turned red.
"Why'd you raise your voice at me?" Jennie said softly.
The Lieutenant froze in her spot.
You can't possibly be mad—
