"Ms. Kim? Can you double check this please?" A crew member came running to her with a clipboard, Jennie flipped through the pages and nodded.
She gave the okay, and soon the fashion show started up. She followed close to her mentor, trying to keep up.
Her mentor gave her a big job, being an assistant to her with the preview of her winter cataloge.
It was her biggest show to date and biggest opportunity, big name brands were going to be watching.
Everything had to be perfect.
"Jennie, can you check on Luschvka? Talk to him personally, he's the star of the show." Dara muttered to Jennie while glaring at her co-partner who was half drunk.
The brunette walked briskly, a woman with a mission. She ignored the aching pain in her soles, the cramping she had since this morning and the light headedness that didn't go away was still there.
All part of the job.
She went backstage to the make up stations scanning the room for the bald man. She found him getting his eye makeup done and she walked over, greeting him with a smile.
"Hi—"
"Ms. Kim." He said dreamily, he had a charming smile. He reached for her hand, giving her a kiss he practically swooned her.
"Will you be ready in 5?" She asked. He nodded firmly, chatting with her for a bit.
Something about Jennie to others made them like her almost instantly. Within that short talk she received his business cards and Jennie was racking that up like crazy over the past couple of weeks.
Her days here in London were going too fast. Every single day is was hectic, her mentor wasn't joking.
She was granted opportunities she'll be experiencing in a couple of months, she met a lot of people. She networked heavily as soon as she touched ground in London.
Her life picked back up like an instant and she was happy, but a bit overworked.
But it was no joke in the fashion industry word was getting around about the Asian-American designer, the hardworking humble woman that everyone kept hearing about.
She was brilliant, creatively brilliant. A social butterfly, a beautiful woman who didn't stop yet remained humble.
Jennie didn't really think about the fame that would go along with it, because aside from her work she had become quite some eye candy. Social media platforms had boosted her popularity.
At first people were asking who was this bomb shell of a beauty, it escalated into agencies reaching out for her to sponsor their products.
She got a couple of modeling opportunities, and soon she had amassed quite a following.
A social media personality title was securely under her belt yet she was still trying to work out making a name for herself in the fashion industry.
She just finished up with the Russian model when a slew of armed guards rushed by her in formation, the model pulled her close to him probably saving her before she got ran down by them.
"What was that?"
"They amped up the security, there's rumors about the 6th floor being compromised." He whispered, looking into the direction of the armed guards.
"Wait so they're not shutting this entire event down?" She squeaked, standing closer to his chest.
"They're trying to contain it, don't you know? They never want a highly anticipated and highly attended event to go up in panic. That's the last thing the organization wants." The model said, letting Jennie go, he patted her shoulders to calm her down.
