Jennie came home after securing another small job. It had been 2 weeks since the trip at Berlin and when she did come home she noticed Jisoo actually greeted her.
The Lieutenant surprisingly made small talk, but it only lasted for 2 days.
Jennie thought maybe it was because Jisoo genuinely missed her for the week she was gone but couldn't help but still be petty.
She didn't know if Jisoo was upset about her going to the trip with Ji Young or about the fight they had weeks ago.
But she started to text Jisoo if she was going to come back for dinner or not, and this week it had been on and off.
Tonight she was home, but she didn't really come out for dinner or talk.
Even then Jennie went into her office, placing down a cup of coffee for the officer as an attempt to slowly raise the white flag and end the war.
She got a small 'thanks' from Jisoo who looked at her for a split second and smiled just a bit.
Jennie yearned for Jisoo's touch, to hear about her day and the small little quirks she had been used to seeing.
The house was unbearably dead. Jisoo worked a lot, she would come home late and said it was work.
Work work work, her line of duty that Jennie hated.
The Lieutenant was so engulfed with her work, she wanted to do the right thing, save people, the world. She'd put the city before herself, she would take a bullet or two in the name of the moral compass.
It's what made her a great officer, but it clashed with being a great lover.
Jennie hummed at the thought and then let Jisoo be at her desk, somewhat satisfied with her progress.
The usual quiet and home bound lover of hers on a Tuesday night would never go out.
No, she believed that going on a weekday was dumb and a total waste of time, plus she'd rather stay at home with Jennie because she liked it.
But today, she went out.
Jisoo got up from her desk, went to the coat rack and put on a jacket and left through the door. No words spoken to Jennie who was sitting on the couch watching the whole thing.
The insecurities piled up, all those fights and lack of communication between the two hit a nerve and Jennie got up from the couch, quickly dressing up to follow her.
She thought about grabbing the police radio Jisoo managed to fix and after awhile she did grab it. Because to her, she didn't want to jump into rash conclusions.
Because what if Jisoo really went to work at this.. time?

She had a trail on Jisoo and followed her slowly a couple of feet behind her in her car.
Jennie watched the blonde get out of the taxi, finding it odd that she took a cab.
It wasn't a surprise Jisoo liked fancy cars, she loved driving and they did own a luxury one.
She stopped and parked around the curb, quickly slipping coins in the parking meter only to turn around and watch Jisoo enter the building.
She quickly followed, but stopped when she saw the sign.
Jennie swallowed the lump in her throat, but nonetheless walked in.
She scanned the area, finding a couple of patrons at the bar and picked out the blonde like she was a mile away.
