Little cute babbles came out of baby Yeji and the Lieutenant had the most fun staring right back at her while laying down to her level.
She played with her pudgy small feet, pressing her thumb gently on the soles.
"I can't believe I get swooned over baby feet now."
"They're cute, aren't they?" Jennie said.
"Uh huh." Jisoo kisses those small feet, getting her baby to giggle.
The Lieutenant rolled over to the other side, playing with baby Ella.
"I have no idea how to play with both at the same time.. I feel like I need a timer to split my time evenly."
Jennie watched with a smile, she was so tired.
"These are my babies."
The Lieutenant went to grab toys and when she handed one to Yeji, she chucked it across the room.
"The amount of sheer strength this one has compared to Ella."
The Lieutenant held Ella's small hand, becoming so fascinated with it.
The little one kept smacking Jisoo's face with it till the Lieutenant ate her hand.
"Don't gobble her hand up!" Jennie screeched, kicking Jisoo's leg.
Jisoo laughed, opening her mouth wide open.
She pressed Ella's little palm, getting her to grasp her finger tightly.
Jennie leaned against Jisoo's dad, curling up next to him.
"How are you my sweetheart?"
"Appa I'm so tired." She mumbled, feeling him pat her head with his hand.
Papa Kim laid a blanket over the designer and asked his wife to bring her something to eat.
"Honey do you want soup?" Jisoo's mom whispered in Jennie's ear.
The designer nodded. "Can I have the biggest piece of beef too?"
Mama Kim hummed, getting her exactly that.
Jisoo's dad soon got off the couch and sat beside Jisoo, playing with the twins on the floor.
"Oh gosh, pretty ladies." He cooed, scrunching his face up when Ella went up to grab at his nose.
"Can you believe I am a parent to these two? I made these!" Jisoo said proudly, lifting Yeji like simba, having her cute limbs dangle about.
The little one started to whine, turning her head to Jennie who had a gentle smile.
She spent the whole morning coaxing them awake and feeding them, but one tired her out, let alone two.
"Jennie, I'll run you a bath after, Okay? Me and the ladies at the book club talked about this old traditional herbal tea bath that really helps with soothing your body."
Jennie frowned in pleasure. "Umma you're the best.
The Lieutenant was laying on the floor with her babies nestled on her chest sleeping away.
"Mom." She whispered.
"Hm?"
"My back hurts. My arm is sore, but I can't move." She said quietly.
"Good, stay there. It's hard to get them to sleep at the same time."
Jisoo peeked at her twins, thinking that they indeed slept very well.
"I never realized that all babies do is sleep eat and poop."
"You did a lot more pooping than sleeping and eating combined. I remember your brother crying at the smell of you."
Jisoo cringed. "The thought of changing diapers makes me gag. I don't know how Jennie does it so happily, I just wanna clean them out a new one on and leave ASAP."
Her father hovered above her and quietly picked Ella up.
"Hey.. that's mine." Jisoo teases.
He scooped up Yeji too and moved them on the couch to sleep.
The Lieutenant sat up, scratching the back of her head. "I feel like my days are exactly like this."
"It will be, but cherish it."
Papa Kim strokes Ella's back, having her cling onto his neck.
"You know, it's almost the twins 100th day in a couple weeks.." He said.
"So.. not almost then." Jisoo laughed at her father. He counted the days on his fingers.
"It's been exactly two months now, so 1 more month, give or take a couple of days." Jisoo quipped.
The Lieutenant sat up. "It's been that long?!"
Her father nodded. "Where are we celebrating? Restaurant?"
"Oh yeah, we're making it very elaborate. The best for my girls." Jisoo grinned, feeling a little bub touching her ear, tugging at it.
"Please keep the guest list small, ever since I popped the twins out al I've been is just tired."
Jisoo laughed, standing up to give her lover a kiss. She sat beside Jennie, letting the designer lay her head on her lap.
"Don't think that's possible.." Jisoo laughed, hearing Jennie groan.
"Appa, tell Jisoo to keep it short!"
Jisoo's dad shook his head, placing Ella and Yeji in their beds.
"Remember when we first let our friends see the twins?"
"Oh my fucking god my hospital room was packed to the brim." Jennie shivered at the thought. "It was so chaotic but the twins got to see so many of their aunties and uncles."
Jisoo remembered Jennie scolding every person in the room for being too loud. That included Dara, her parents and Jisoo herself.
"Well, expect that many people and even maybe more. I wanna invite my boss, and maybe some other friends."
Jennie huffed. "I'm not pleased."
"What can I trade for you to be pleased?"
Jennie shrugged. "Back rub, foot rub, massage, a bath, and food."
"Jisoo? Why don't you go take Jennie out hm?"
"Like a date?" Jisoo asked.
Jisoo's father nodded. "We'll take care of the little chunky babies while you're gone. You guys won't take long, right?"
"Don't think so? Jennie can fall asleep anywhere.. so.."
Her father winked at her and her mother patted her shoulder, egging them on to leave.
Jennie pouted. "Can we take the twins?"
Jisoo's jaw dropped. "B-But—"
"I'm gonna miss them so much. I haven't been apart from them since day 1." Jennie whined, going over to hover above her babies.
"Jendeuk, we'll only be gone for a couple of hours?" The Lieutenant held Jennie's arm, trying to pull her away.
"We'll get you something tasty to eat, okay? You need to get out of the house. It's been weeks!"
"Ugh. Fine!" The designer stomped out of the room to go get ready.
"You have everything prepared, Jisoo?" Her dad whispered.
The Lieutenant nodded eagerly.
Her mother gave her a fat kiss on the cheek. "I hope she'll say yes, after all, it is the day you guys officially met right?"
"Uh huh, first time." Jisoo smiled. She gave her twins a quick kiss on their bald heads.
"I'll tell you how it goes."
"You can't come back till you're a married woman.. to Jennie." Her mother warned.
Jisoo rolled her eyes. "You begged her to marry me since day 1 when you met her, god it was so awkward." The Lieutenant whispered.
Her mother was going to speak up but the Lieutenant plugged her ears. "Can't hear you, gotta go, take care of my twins please!"
