Jisoo held the paper, crumpling it up in her fist she threw it on the night stand.

She sat on the edge of the bed, her head down and chest closing she didn't know what to think.

Nothing mattered, at least not now.

Jennie had left the following morning without a sound. She left so quietly that Jisoo didn't hear her packing.

Almost everything that belonged to the brunette was gone, a half of her disappeared.

Be good for me, okay?
- Jennie

The Lieutenant laid on the bed, arms sprawled out she knew exactly where things went wrong and it all started with herself.

She gulped, turning over she touched Jennie's pillowing, finding nothing but a perfectly fluffed up one.

She sat up, noticing the vanity was empty and was just a glorified desk with a mirror.

It was too quiet. There wasn't any low snoring at the end of the bed. It was then she realized the pair of white puppies were gone.

The Lieutenant quickly ran into the closet, and even when Jennie occupies 2/3's of it, what little closet space and clothes Jisoo had was emphasized by the sheer empty space the closet now had.

Something about the note Jennie left her told her she wasn't allowed to find Jennie nor was she allowed to fight for her back or beg her to stay.

The realization hit her like a 60 ton truck, Jennie left.

She was foolish to think that the first time Jennie said she'd stay, that she would stay. She was dumb to think that even after cheating on her she had the audacity to become a bit relieved when the words 'I'll stay' came out of Jennie's lips.

It was naive to think like that when she still treated Jennie like shit after breaking her heart.

To think my own mother was right.

The ringer of her phone started to go off the charts, her 7 AM alarm clock went off but she laid in bed.

She drowned herself in those noises because nothing mattered anymore. She closed her eyes, feeling as if she heard her heart pounding before tapering off. She felt it crumble into pieces.

The Lieutenant turned on her side, noticing the framed photo of her and Jennie being placed face down.

Jisoo didn't do that.

The buzz of her electric toothbrush rang loudly in her head, she gargled some water and spat it in the sink.

She reached over her toothpaste and screwed the lid back on, because if she didn't Jennie would get upset.

Oh yeah.

One look at the sink and even the bathroom and half of it was clearly vacant. Skin products, makeup, shampoo, anything that the other girl had was gone.

She heaved a heavy sigh, pulling her weight over to the kitchen and turning the coffee maker on. She instinctively reached for two cups and placed them down on the counter.

It took 4 minutes and scorching hot coffee that tasted like crap to remind her that she didn't need to make enough for two anymore.

I feel so empty.

She leaned against the kitchen island, thinking endlessly for moments. She took exceptionally long to get ready this morning.

A part of her wanted to go away and that same part wanted to stay home and wallow up in sadness and do all the things she could do to numb the pain.
