Within a week, Jisoo was located to Germany where she was stationed out by her boss back in L.A for a couple of test trials and interviews.
The shit they had her do felt like she was training for the secret service or some spy for the government.
She had to do rigorous physical tests seeing what she can do. She did like 2 psychological tests and an IQ test, she did the whole spectrum.
Her boss told her to just do it and try to nail every interview he had set her up with.
And she liked to think she did, but being in a country where the culture was different and she didn't have anyone she knew it would be hard for her.
Hell, the week she told her crew she was going to be leaving and taking another job that was hard enough as it was.
Bobby expressed his concern and lack of approval for it, but he'd always been a bit clingy to the Lieutenant as he viewed her as his older sister.
She promised she'd come back, and they were talking on the phone anyways.
Chaeyoung insisted on coming with her just to help her settle in but the Lieutenant declined, afraid Jennie would be mad about that or something.
The Lieutenant was waiting in the lobby after another set of interviews when her phone rang. She didn't pick it up and let it ring because she was too busy trying to help an old German lady tie her shoelaces.
The old woman patted the Lieutenant's back harshly in gratitude after Jisoo finished tying her left shoe.
Her back was still somewhat healing and it was bruised still so she still yelped at the sudden pain.
The woman said something in German and Jisoo merely nodded, not knowing a lick of the language.
The elder rolled over Jisoo's foot with her trolley and the Lieutenant stood there smiling, acting as if her toes weren't crushed or ran over by that damn cart.
She fished for her phone out of her pocket and squinted at the text messages.
Boss Man: Good news kid, you got hired at Germany's top security firm.
Her boss sent her a link of the website and a couple of things she needed to do before she accepted the job, but other than that the Lieutenant got up from the lounge area and headed out.
There wasn't a reason to do anymore interviews because well, this firm is probably the best in the world.
Its a high paying job, maybe a bit out of her qualifications but she'll make it work.
Jisoo did ask her boss to get her any job, but she had wished the stars were aligned and gave her something in the military.
Her phone rang again, and one look at the text message and she thought someone was behind her, or reading her mind at least.
Boss Man: Contract runs for a couple months, after that they'll release you. It's enough time for me to secure you with a job in America's US Navy or Korea's special forces.
Boss Man: Dress to impress, your first briefing starts tomorrow and don't fuck it up :)
Boss man sent her a smiley face and she almost gagged at his use of emojis.

The Lieutenant wasn't exactly excited about her new job.
She didn't want to become a celebrity bodyguard. She knew she wasn't going to get someone that important, she feared the job would bore her to death.
