After work the Lieutenant was standing outside helplessly holding onto bags of groceries Jennie made her carry.

The worst part was, they were supposed to have dinner with her parents. Ever since that incident Jisoo hasn't kept up with her family, not even her mom. But Jennie has.

"Jichu want a bite?"

"Wait you're offering me food?"

"I feel bad. You can only have one bite." She said with a warning. The Lieutenant ended up taking a large bite much to Jennie's dismay.

"Y-You! I said one bite but not that big of a bite!"

"Jendeuk, that's your 6th skewer." The Lieutenant said, keeping her distance from Jennie.

"I'm feeding our two kids!" She whined, elbowing the Lieutenants stomach.

"Ow." She mumbled. She watched as Jennie shuffled over to a local bakery. It took about two minutes before the designer came out with fistful of a brown bag.

"Cheese bread!" Jennie said excitedly, holding them up like she clutched the worlds best treasure.

"How many bags did you buy?" The Lieutenant asked, walking alongside her. She opened the car door for Jennie and stuffed the groceries in the back, closing it.

"6. Well, 5 now I just ate one." Jennie muttered.

The Lieutenant absolutely hated how their new car smelt like cheese bread. She established a rule that no one was going to eat in her brand new car, but Jennie broke that rule ever single time.

"Jendeuk.." The Lieutenant called. "Please stop getting crumbs on the seat." She gave her some sort of a deadly side eye but the designer happily sat in her seat peeling off bits of cheese.

"It's soo good. I love carbs."

Jisoo rolled her eyes and reached over to grab some but Jennie yelled at her.

"No." She bluntly said, turning her body.

"Okay, listen. You're dirtying my car. Whatever happened to that one rule I set for—"

"No, you listen, you stupid egg. I am carrying our twins and our twins love cheese bread or whatever I happen to be eating. I am hungry, I am craving things, and I like to eat. So if you're going to tell me I'm not allowed to eat in your car than that means you don't love me or our twins." The designer said, not even paying any sort of attention to Jisoo and her crumbs.

"Jennie, that's one hell of a conclusion and that's not what I am saying—"

The designer waved her off. "So are you going to let me eat or not then?" She asked, Jennie giving her a side eye was scarier than the time she got slashed in the back.

"The rule has now been thrown out the window." Jisoo muttered.

Pfft.

When they arrived at her parents house, the realization settled in.

The Lieutenant was basically about to face a boss battle and the big enemy was her dad.

She sat in the car for far too long when Jennie was already at the front door knocking.

Jennie glanced behind her, waving her hand and asking Jisoo to come in but when the Lieutenant didn't budge and stayed frozen in the car she sighed.

"Baby please? We talked about this.."

"No we didn't. You told me right after work we're going to have dinner at our parents house." Jisoo reasoned.

"I know you don't like your dad but I do, and I want to see your parents. I'm not asking you to talk to him and I'll defend you if something happens, okay?" She kept pulling on Jisoo's arms, expecting her to come out.
