Jisoo opened the door for Jennie, and the brunette stepped out.
Jisoo caught the wind that was blowing and moved behind her, touching the designer's back slightly and had a knee just above the hem of her dress, stopping it from flying up and her having a Marilyn Monroe moment.
She held the umbrella above Jennie, in London it snows. In Los Angeles, it doesn't.
The designer still couldn't get rid of her pretty dresses even though it was freezing cold and all the streets were covered in a winter wonderland.
Jennie turned around, oblivious to all the little details Jisoo had to do to make Jennie presentable, but the brunette still flashed a smile seeing Jisoo's seriousness.
The city square was full on patrons and Jennie saw the red carpet just in front of the new boutique that was opening.
She was there to attend the grand opening.
It wasn't big, and the event hasn't started yet but she figured she'd be just a bit early.
The designer glanced above her shoulder, seeing Jisoo right behind her as usual.
She walked a bit slow, matching the pace of Jisoo who always trailed behind her a bit.
"I'm hungry." She whispered.
"You just ate." Jisoo replied.
Jennie rolled her eyes. "You bought me a kids cheeseburger because you said we couldn't wait for a deluxe triple patty hamburger with extra fries."
Jisoo realized Jennie did have a good point.
"I didn't want us to be late Ma'am." Jisoo reasoned before she figured she'd stop fighting with a hungry Jennie. "Would you like to get something to eat Ma'am." She whispered back, holding the umbrella more to Jennie's side.
"What would you recommend, Lieutenant?"
"There's a small shop down the south wing, not too far from the event and there won't be any suspecting paparazzi so you can eat at your leisure."
"What's the risk?" Jennie teased, only because Jisoo for the last couple of days had been using that mer 'risk' everywhere.
Jisoo cracked a smile before reverting back to being serious. "None."
"Lead the way, Lieutenant."
"As you wish, Ma'am."
Jennie followed Jisoo closely, afraid if she got too close Jisoo would automatically walk behind her because that's what she's supposed to do, but she just wanted to walk side by side with her, at east once during the day.
She noticed how the umbrella was tilted to her side, and Jisoo had specks of snow dotted all over the top of her head and shoulder, her ears were also red as hell.
The designer held onto the stem of the umbrella, tilting it back but Jisoo had the world's strongest grip.
It didn't budge and the Lieutenant looked at Jennie, giving her a non verbal warning.
Okay, okay. Gosh.
She felt herself sink into her shoes, almost in a puddle of happiness.
As promised, there was a small shop tucked away inside one of the streets, judging through looks Jennie thought it was a little messy and cramped in here, but it did seem really cozy.
Jisoo held the door for the designer, half stepping inside and half stepped out she tried to close the umbrella but it got jammed.
Jennie waved at the elderly couple, bowing out of habit she put up two fingers, asking for a seat for two.
