The Lieutenant was yawning as she held onto the roof handle. She blinked twice or so before they ended up at their designated hotel.

When they touched down in Paris not too long ago, the airport was still hectic and driven with fans equally for Jennie and Dara. There wasn't an incident this time, and Jisoo was ever grateful.

Jisoo opened the door for Jennie when the car came to a stop but was surprised at the quietness from Jennie.

The designer just walked past her and into the hotel's entrance. The Lieutenant had to catch up to her, letting their driver get her bags.

The elevator was going to close without Jisoo and the Lieutenant slid her arm between the doors, the sensors opening the elevator door back up before she stepped in.

The Lieutenant saw Jennie's upset face and didn't know what she did wrong, or what happened in the private jets room.

She figures maybe Dara scolded her or something, but she never knew with Jennie.

Jisoo refrained from saying anything before they arrived at the hotel room and just before Jennie could lay a foot in, the Lieutenant had an arm pushing her back and behind her.

"Protocol, stay put Ms. Kim."

The Lieutenant proceeded to check on every room and square inch of the luxurious room. She opened the curtains, revealing the Paris night sky and the gigantic view of the Eiffel Tower.

She turned around, nodding to Jennie who leaned against the wall unimpressed.

When the designer dropped her purse on the floor and sat on the bed, Jisoo was about to pull her ear piece out and phase out her duties, but the door was knocked and the Lieutenant opened it.

In came a doctor and Jisoo glanced at one of the bodyguards standing outside the door who repeated back a clearance code to her.

"Ms. Kim, I was called for a check up on you." The doctor had said, smiling she sat beside the designer and started to explain stuff to Jennie.

The designer only nodded and agreed to whatever she was asked to do. The Lieutenant busied herself staring out the window admiring the view as she waited for the doctor to finish up.

"Does it hurt here, Ms. Kim?" The doctor said, pressing on the side of her head.

Jennie shook her head, eyes training on Jisoo's back.

"How about here?" Jennie shook her head.

The doctor continued to ask questions, but Jennie zoned out and had the Lieutenant on her mind.

"Ms. Kim? Are you paying attention?" Jennie nodded and smiled, saying she was fine.

The doctor recommended something and all the designer could think about was sleeping on her bed and forget about the day, too upset at what happened earlier.

Jisoo heard and escorted the doctor out of the room, closing it tightly.

She signaled she was clocking out, taking her ear piece out.

The Lieutenant began her routine of stripping away from her bodyguard gear, placing them on the table. She walked over to Jennie, hovering above her.

"Hi."

Jennie started to giggle, pushing Jisoo's face away.

"Mind if I sit?"

Jennie nodded and felt the weight of the Lieutenant on the bed. She kept playing with a piece of thread, feeling somber.

"You okay? You got tossed around at the airport."

"Tell your co-worker he's a piece of shit." She grumbled.
