The Lieutenant was busy reading the case report. She was so invested into the details about the explosion in the London operation that she ended up biting down so hard on the pen that it broke.

Jisoo flipped page after page, her brows creasing and every sound in the room became mute.

In her little coconut head, this was her realm and it was her mode of focus.

Till a loud chirpy voice startled her and made her drop the folder on the floor.

"Holy shit." The Lieutenant mumbled, a hand on her chest she glanced up to see her waddling pregnant lady walk up to her.

Jennie pokes Jisoo's head with her belly as the Lieutenant was leaning down to grab the papers.

"Hi! Missed you! Dingdongs says hi!" The designer said quite cutely. "Also brought you lunch."

The Lieutenant kissed her baby bump, sitting upright on her chair.

"Hello, hello." She greeted.

The Lieutenant noticed how Jennie was happy, she looked good and best of all she was no longer mad.

The designer didn't even bring it up.

Jisoo was going to pat her lap, inviting Jennie to sit but the designer placed her lunchbox on her desk and sat on the desk instead.

"How'd you even get in?" Jisoo asked, watching Jennie open the lunchbox that she made for her.

The designer plucked out a rice ball, feeding Jisoo and then herself.

"I am a star. I am a famous celebrity. I am also the lady that walked in here everyday yelling at your Chief for putting you in situations that got you hurt. Your colleagues remember me, of course I got in!"

The Lieutenant nodded amusingly, opening her mouth to be fed by Jennie.

"I thought you had things to do, why are you here?"

"I was bored, and I missed you." Jennie simply replied. "Your letter made me want to see you too."

"Mhm." The Lieutenant replied amusingly, putting the folder on the desk. "I'm sorry, okay? I will never raise my voice at you ever again."

Jennie hummed, picking the lint off the Lieutenants shirt.

"And, I promise you the thing I was hiding, it's not.. bad? I'll tell you soon, please be patient, hm?" Jisoo coaxed, her hand slyly patting Jennie's bum.

"Okay.. but I'm still a little mad at you."

Jisoo nodded.

"I hope you know when you're yelling at me you're also yelling at Dingdongs."

"Oh." Jisoo said sadly, feeling Jennie pat her cheek. "I would never yell at my twins."

"Well you did! And I'm still a little mad.. but you were so romantic.." Jennie smiled, referring to the little poem the Lieutenant had written.

The Lieutenant smiled like a goofy dog. "Heh." She was never the one to do those cringe romantic gestures anyways, but she was desperate and needed forgiveness.

"I like you on desk duty." Jennie said cheekily.

Jisoo rolled her eyes. She didn't like desk duty, she was bound to a seat the entire day.

Being on desk duty meant that she was to go home around lunch time since they couldn't give her more work because of her leg.

"Why? Is it because you know I physically can't get hurt."
