The Lieutenant found the beefy guy taking up two seats. He was bulging out of that suit.
She sat beside him, startling him.
"Oh, hey."
"Nice suit." Jisoo complimented, a bit nervous.
She didn't know what to expect or how much Jennie's brother knew, but Seunghyun was a big man. Super strong, hulk like proportions. He also loved Jennie a lot.
"Thanks, Jennie's friend Jiyoung made it for me." He said happily.
The Lieutenant nodded. She stayed quiet, watching the lights dim and the show about to begin.
"You seem tense, Lieutenant."
Jisoo turned slightly, looking at Jennie's brothers harmless smile.
"Yeah. I guess."
"I'm not going to punt you to the oblivion." He mumbled a big finger poking the tint Lieutenants arm.
The Lieutenant looked up at him as if he was lying. "Uh."
"You're family!" He said, pulling her into a side hug he soon ruffled her hair, and the Lieutenant was there struggling to breath with how hard he squeezed her.
She wheezes, patting his arm. "I can't breathe."
He let go of her, apologizing.
"You're not mad? Do you realize what I did?"
"I was mad, but not anymore. I couldn't find a chance to kill you, but I guess fate intended it to be that way."
"What do you mean fate intended it to be that way."
"Jennie forgave you, then I should too. I don't see the point in holding a grudge, I'm sure you've been sorry, haven't you?"
The Lieutenant gulped, she's locked with him she couldn't believe her ears.
Jennie forgave me.
So did Seunghyun?
"I'm so sorry I did that to Jennie, I-I don't deserve a second chance." Jisoo stuttered. "You have every right to hate me, yell at me, I hurt her in the worst of ways—"
"Hey, hey." He said, taking her then to frown he shook her hand. "I accept your apology, Buddy."
Jisoo was going to speak up but also shook his head, commanding her obedience.
"You've suffered enough, I've heard it all." He said gently.
Jisoo looked away, wondering what he heard. She looked straight ahead.
"Can I ask you a question, Lieutenant?"
"What is it?"
"How did you get over..it." He said it with such shame that Jisoo knew exactly what he was talking about.
She laid a gentle hand on his arm, causing him to look at her.
"I knew I had a problem and when I realized that living was much more important to me, I didn't do it anymore. I found something worth living for." Jisoo replies.
"I have many things to live for, but I find it so hard to quit. I almost relapsed again, Lieutenant, but then you helped me."
The Lieutenant shook her head, knowing exactly where he's coming from. "I didn't help you. I helped you stand back up, admitted you to the same talk group I was in, and then after that it was all you."
"You didn't judge me, so that is why I didn't judge you when I heard about the cheating news."
"But you were angry, were you?" Jisoo trailed off.
