"Who are we waiting for again?"

Jennie fed Jisoo a couple of chocolate covered coffee beans, getting her to quit whining so much.

"You'll see."

The Lieutenant huffed. They were at the airport waiting at the arrival terminal and it was pretty early in the morning.

The couple had breakfast at the airport coffee shop while waiting for the said flight that was delayed a bit.

When people started to trickle in, the couple stood up.

Jisoo went on her tippy toes trying to see who the hell she was supposed to be waiting for, she thought it must've been Chaeyoung or someone.

When she saw her parents walk through the door, she immediately turned around.

"Hey, Chu." Jennie called, chasing after the Lieutenant. "Jisoo.." She called softly.

"Why didn't you tell me we're picking up my parents?" Jisoo mumbled, feeling Jennie hold onto her arm.

"Because you wouldn't have came."

"That's exactly what I would've done." Jisoo muttered.

Jennie sighed, brushing the Lieutenant's hair back. "Please stop avoiding them, they mean a lot to me and your parents really miss you. Trust me."

"I don't want to see them, especially my dad."

"Okay but you two need to talk it out. I'm not having you guys fight. Not during my pregnancy." Jennie said, linking arms with Jisoo. She pulled the Lieutenant back as they walked towards her parents.

"What does that even have to do with anything—"

"Dingdongs said they want their grandpa!" Jennie said loudly, frowning when Jisoo wouldn't hold her hand and come back.

"Oh my god." Jisoo hissed, she was pretty ticked off already. She gritted her teeth, Jennie should've told her.

The Lieutenant quietly stood beside Jennie as the designer skipped happily to her parents welcoming them. She hugged them both, giving each parent a kiss and a fat hug.

"Oh honey, you're adorable!" Mama Kim beamed.

"How's my favourite girl?" Jisoo's father beamed, kissing Jennie's head.

"Appa, how was the flight?"

"A little cramped." He chuckled. When he looked up he became very stoic, looking at Jisoo coldly.

The Lieutenant looked away uncomfortable. She became angry under his stare, the animosity between them was growing.

She hadn't seen him in a long time, she had been avoiding him the entire time.

"Oh! Jisoo!" Her mother practically screeched, the older woman trotted over to the Lieutenant giving her a hug. "My daughter! I missed you so much!"

"How are you? Why do you look so skinny? What happened to your ear honey—"

Jisoo never took her gaze off her father. He looked away and quietly pushed the cart full of their luggage.

"Honey, I will make you some beef soup okay? Do you want rice? What about noodles, I can make you some noodles too—"

Jisoo nodded and patted her moms arm. "That would be nice, mom."

"Oh my darling, I've missed you! Why didn't you call? I was so worried about you!" Mama Kim continued.

Jisoo hummed. "I'm sorry."

Her mother shook her head and hugged the Lieutenant once more. "Oh hush you." Her mother held her hand and she let her.
