The Lieutenant cracked her neck, stretching in her seat she kept bouncing her leg and fidgeting in her spot.
"Stop."
"Fuck you." Jisoo snapped, pulling on Hoony's finger.
"It's so boring." Hoony whispered, handing Jisoo a piece of gum.
"This is such a waste of time." Jisoo whispered back, looking around the room seeing a bunch of her colleagues with their head down, not listening to the speaker at the front.
"We are teaming up with the European Union's many police forces to gain intel about the ongoing terrorist attacks that could happen in any country."
"Every country is at stake, everyone is working overtime and that means we do too. Our job is to protect our clients, we have some of the world's most important people under our care, whether it be political power or figure heads, each of our client has a potential bounty on their head."
"Right now, the North State has more power than ever and to fund their heinous crimes in their state, they are holding primarily citizens of the U.K and the USA captive, demanding ransom from the government. But there has been a tip that they are planning to either blackmail people who are wealthy, and either kill them or hold them for money."
"We are initiating a new strategic plan, implementing—"
Jisoo groaned and ignored the speaker who was talking for an hour, rolling her eyes. "You know, some of the shit they say is redundant as fuck. They repeat what's on the news."
"Uh, okay Jisoo." Hoony said.
"This shit has been happening for months and other than more bodies on the clients, they aren't doing shit." Jisoo pointed out.
"And what do you suggest they do, Lieutenant."
"Their way of procedures is really questionable. Every time I'm on duty, I do shit on my own. Only because I don't have a partner who can call me out on and report me."
"You do your own shit?" The man cocked a brow.
"You know for Germany's top agency- sorry, the world's top agency, the first thing our German boss told me listing out my job description. Stuff like always doing background checks, planning routes, but they don't even do it themselves." Jisoo nodded her head to the guy in front of her. "Look at this fool, you actually think this guy is qualified? This agency has flaws."
"I've been to many, worked with many. This is the best you're going to get unfortunately. Jisoo, you're top of the top. That's why they assigned you to Jennie—"
"Jennie wasn't known, she just happened to blow up into stardom overnight. They don't know how to allocate their resources efficiently, hell they misallocate them. Sure, you can say I'm qualified and should be assigned to someone more higher up, but whatever." Jisoo refuted.
"They tell me to do this way when there's another better way of doing it, but they won't really take no as an answer so I just leave it at that." She continued, Hoony having to tell her to quiet it down.
Hoony laughed, patting Jisoo's leg he told her to shut up before she blew a neck vein.
They listened to the speaker before Jisoo fell asleep in her chair, getting bored with the new procedures and protocols they had to now do because of the heightened fear of terrorism.
It was only the 2nd day and she was going to go home home tomorrow.
The entire 2 days were jam packed with endless meetings, special classes and more information about what the world was going through.
