For the next two to three days, the designer was still really affected by what had happened.

Dara told Jennie's design team to just finish up the current garments. The mentor didn't tell Jennie to scrap it because like others they thought it was a good concept.

Dara had to sit Jennie down and tell her that maybe it was that woman's usual tastes and everyone had opinions and that woman's opinion was just very wrong.

Jennie kind of bought it but she still moped around and it made the Lieutenant work overtime trying to come up with ways to cheer her up.

It sucked because it made the Lieutenant restless too. If she was upset, then it made Jisoo upset.

Jennie got up from bed and went to sit at the table, she got herself a cup of water and she sat down, sketching a whole new concept.

Jisoo was watching from afar, seeing the fire lit in Jennie's eyes. All she could do was support her and she did that.

She joined the woman, sitting beside her quietly although she was really sleepy and was about to fall asleep.

She stayed up till dawn, watching the woman work ferociously and quickly.

Jisoo let her release that pent up stress. She let her draw her heart out, she needed it. But it wasn't necessary.

She wasn't going to let some old rickety boned designer practically kill Jennie's confidence and determination.

Not on the Lieutenants' watch.

Jennie scrapped so many ideas at once, she felt Jennie's frustration but the woman kept working. She didn't give up but Jisoo thought she didn't need to focus on new ideas.

"Do you like it?" Jennie asked, showing her the paper.

Jisoo nodded. "I like it."

Jennie trusted her and continued, but when she felt her paper slip she looked up at Jisoo pulling it from her.

"Don't you think this and your old design with the black loop, look good though?" Jisoo said, her voice all drowsy.

The designer nodded, seeing Jisoo flip through her marked up workbook.

"Dara said they were fine. She said to keep working on your concept, but you're making a new one?"

"I don't feel comfortable doing that anymore." Jennie murmured.

"No, you're afraid." Jisoo said firmly, she pulled the pencil out of Jennie's hand.

"It's 5 in the morning. You've been restless, and I know it sucks to be told your art is shit, but a lot of people don't think so."

"Then what do I do Jisoo?"

"Keep the original design, don't start new. Be confident, Sunshine. You're brilliant." Jisoo whispered.

She flipped to a random page in the book and pointed at the colourful intricate coat.

"This is innovative, it's bright and colourful. This one is my favourite in your entire collection because of how abstract it is."

"Yeah?" Jennie said, resting her chin on top of her knees.

Jisoo nodded eagerly, the Lieutenant sounded like she knew what she was talking about and Jennie found herself believing in it more.

"A lot of your style is minimalist, this is why I like this. I like your bolder designs more because that's when you're out of your comfort zone. But at the same time that old hag critiqued you the most on these right? Well she can shove it up her ass. I like them."
