Eda was standing in front of him. She was the same as he remembered her, but at the same time, not the same. She was pale, almost white as if she didn't saw the sun since her accident, and she was thin. The bones were peeking from her almost translucent skin. He suddenly felt cold in his body, and the sun stopped shining as darkness comprehended him.

Engin stood frozen in the spot. His body was shaking, and his teeth chattered. He saw Eda's smile fading. She made a step towards him, and the world spun around him.

"Serkan! He is going to pass out!" Eda exclaimed in a frantic voice. Serkan jumped to Engin to catch his back when he started falling.

"Engin!" He yelled.

"It was a big shock for him." Serkan turned to Eda and dragged him to the house

"I hope not everybody will react to me this way." Eda said, holding the French door.

"My mother will pass out for sure."

Engin opened his eyes and noticed that he was lying on the couch in Serkan's house. How the hell did he get here? He wondered. He looked around and startled. He saw Serkan standing over his head and Eda sitting on the couch next to him. Engin quickly sat up and moved further from her.

"Are you a ghost? Did you come for Serkan and you want to take me with you too? Please, don't take me. You have Serkan, he wants to go with you, but I have a wife, I just got married a couple of months ago. My wife is pregnant." He begged, and Eda tilted her head, looking at him with narrowed eyes.

"Are you trying to trade me for your life, Engin? Eda, maybe you should take him after all." Serkan rolled his eyes.

"Please, no! This is not what I meant. Serkan, you want to go with Eda. She is your fiancee. You don't need me where you are going." Engin pleaded with tears in his eyes.

"I think we need you where we are going." Eda spoke up for the first time in a serious tone, and Engin shivered.

"W-where a-are you g-going?" Engin asked in horror.

"To the registry office, you moron." Serkan smaked Engin on the back of his head.

"Ouch, Serkan! That hurt!" Engin looked at his best friend, offended, but the pain revived his senses.

"Registry office?" He turned to Eda. "So you are real? You are not dead? I'm not dead?"

"Why does everyone who sees me think he is dreaming or dead, and I'm just a ghost? Do I have to punch you too in your face to make you believe?"

Engin moved even further. "Ok, ok. I believe you. Don't punch me. I saw many times Serkan's black eye when you two went out boxing, I don't need that."

Eda looked smiling at Serkan, and he gave her his cute half smile. So they were boxing together, Eda thought, and she kicked his ass.

"You are really here? What happened? We all were told you are dead."

"My evil grandmother." Eda answered, and Engin gasped. "She must have bribed the hospital staff and kidnapped me. I broke free two days ago, and yesterday I landed in Istanbul. I was lucky to meet Serkan before he did something stupid."

"Your grandmother!" Engin exclaimed. "She is an evil witch. Only she is that twisted."

"Was. She is dead. that's why I'm free."

"Everybody will go crazy when they learn you are back and alive."

"I know. I will see probably more reactions like yours." Eda got up and embraced Serkan, and he hugged her tight. "Serkan thought that I was a dream and later that I was a ghost, but you can't blame him, but you were a bit dramatic."
