"This is Kiraz's bedroom, next is her playroom across Serkan bey's study. He likes to have her close even if he's working, so don't be surprised if all the doors will be open when he's here. He wants to keep his eye on her." Esra hanim, the housekeeper, was showing Eda around the mansion and Bolats' estate.
"And this will be your room. If I understood Aydan hanim correctly, you will be staying here during the week?" The woman asked when Eda glanced inside to see a nice, spacious room with a big double bed, canopy, and white furniture.
"Yes. I'm going to move in tomorrow." She nodded.
In her contract, Eda agreed to stay at the Bolats' mansion overnight to put Kiraz to bed and prepare her for school in the mornings while her grandmother would be out of town as she traveled a lot for work. During the weekends, the family apparently was at home, so Eda would have them free.
She had to admit that her new bosses were loaded. One look at Aydan hanim, and she could tell her earnings were worth more than Eda had ever earned in her life. She was quite surprised that she was interviewed by a grandmother, not a father, but he apparently was busy at work. Well, that's why he needed a nanny. He didn't have time for his own child. The topic of the mother was glossed over by Aydan hanim. The woman definitely didn't want to talk about her. It was strange. But they paid well, and Eda needed the money. Their private life and relationships weren't her business.
"What happened to Kiraz's mother? They are divorced?" Eda asked, trying to remember the plan of the house, which wasn't an easy task as it was old and huge.
"Divorced?" Esra hanim frowned. "Oh no, it was a terrible plane crash. Two years ago. Serkan bey and Kiraz were supposed to travel, too. But she had a fever, and he had a last-minute meeting with a client, so he offered to stay with her. Thank God he did that."
Thank God? Eda internly flinched. The father generously offered to stay with his daughter? She had a feeling she wouldn't be fond of her new boss, and all of this seemed odd, but the money was good. Eda shrugged and followed Esra hanim outside to look around the estate.

Eda heard a car driving under the main door, a little girl shouting goodbyes and a male voice responding to her and laughing. As the car drove away, the door opened, and she saw a six-year-old girl with dark brown hair and chocolate eyes. The girl jumped to her grandmother, who greeted her with a hug, took her backpack, and turned her toward Eda. The girl looked at her with curiosity and took a step forward with a little smile.
"Are you my nanny?" She asked with a grin.
"Kiraz Bolat, where are your good manners?" Aydan hanim scolded the girl, pretending to be serious. "We say good afternoon first."
"Good afternoon, are you my new nanny?" Kiraz Bolat said with a little smirk.
Eda smiled. This little girl was definitely something. She came close to Kiraz and knelt to be at the same eye level as her.
"Good afternoon. Yes, I am. I'm Eda." Eda extended her hand, and the girl shook it vigorously, making her giggle.
"I'm Kiraz. Nice to meet you. Come, I will show you my room." Kiraz literally dragged Eda, and she had to steady herself with a hand on the floor so as not to fall.
"I see Kiraz will take it for here." Aydan hanim said with a little shrug. "Dinner is at six. See you there." She turned to the living room, leaving Eda with her granddaughter.
