Eda ran her hands through the skirt of her dress, inhaling and exhaling deeply. She needed to calm down, concentrate, and throw out of her head whatever it was that Serkan was doing to her. She closed her eyes, telling herself that she had already forgotten about their kiss from the morning, and it didn't do anything to her, didn't affect her even in the slightest.
She opened her eyes, deciding that the best way to do this would be by occupying herself with her work. She already wasted an hour, and she hated to be behind when it came to business.
Eda turned toward her desk when the door opened, and she found herself in the strong arms of heavenly smelling man. How could he smell so good, she wondered, closing her eyes and inhaling his scent when her face briefly pressed into Serkan's neck. Maybe she could ask him what perfumes he used, spray it around her apartment, and get rid of him out of her head.
"Hey, baby." Serkan pulled away slightly, just enough to kiss her cheek. "Did you miss me?"
"It's been five minutes!" Eda exclaimed, turning red and trying to free herself from his embrace, but she wasn't fighting too much.
"I've been counting time too." He grinned, pulling her even closer, almost lifting her from her feet and then, suddenly, letting her go and turning toward the exit.
Eda stumbled and almost fell on her bum when Serkan disappeared behind the door, but before she could understand what was happening, he was already back, pushing a chair inside.
"Could you hold the door for me, please?" He asked, and Eda was so dumbstruck by what was happening that she obediently held the doorknob, watching how Serkan placed his chair at her desk and started to rearrange her things to make a space for himself.
"Is so empty here. Maybe we could add some plants here to make this space more cosy, and this wall needs a painting." Serkan was talking in a casual tone, while Eda still couldn't find a tongue in her mouth.
"What are you talking about?" She finally blurted out.
"I know a good artist who was with me in the same year when I attended the art academy. He can paint something nice for this place, or we can choose a more classic piece from my collection. "
Eda still held the door open when Leyla entered the office, holding two boxes and two cups, and placed them on the coffee table.
"Everything just like you asked me, Serkan bey." The woman smiled brightly at Serkan while Eda was looking at her personal assistant with an open mouth, not sure if she wasn't dreaming. "I will bring you a laptop in half an hour when our IT specialist will finish preparing it for you."
"Thank you, Leyla. You're the best."
Now, Eda looked at Serkan with wide eyes as he smiled warmly at her assistant, who apparently became his assistant.
Serkan walked over the door, removed Eda's hand from the doorknob, and closed it, smirking mischievously at her.
"Come, baby." He said, leaning toward her.
"Where?" She asked, feeling dumb. His closeness was stripping any reason off her brain.
"To have a breakfast." Serkan chuckled, turning toward the coffee table, which was already set up for two people. "Or your coffee would get cold."
Eda glared at him, pushing him away and walking to the table. She sat down with offended pout and grabbed one of the coffee cups.
"Don't call me that." She almost barked, when he comfortably settled on the other chair.
