Eda sat at the top deck of the yacht, embracing her knees and watching the sun setting in the middle of the sea. Serkan climbed on the deck and sat next to her, placing his hand on her waist and comfortably stretching his legs.
She looked at him, having trouble believing in everything that happened not only for the last couple of days but since the moment Serkan came to work in the company. It felt so surreal, almost impossible to be true.
Eda put her hand on Serkan's cheek, and he smiled, taking her palm and leaving a chaste kiss on it. Her heart fluttered, and she smiled back at him. She ran her fingers through his perfect hair, observing his handsome features, and again couldn't believe how he could be real.
"Is something bothering you?" Serkan asked softly, looking at her with full of love eyes. "You're awfully quiet."
"I'm having a hard time believing that this is not a dream. I'm afraid that I will blink, and you will disappear and it all will turn out to be just a dream. You're just a dream." Eda whispered in a slightly shaking voice.
"I am not." He shook his head and moved down from the seat to kneel in front of Eda, keeping her hands in his and squeezing them gently. "I'm just the man madly in love with the woman of his dreams, asking her to marry him."
Eda smiled brightly. "I thought you would never ask."
"Is this a yes?"
"Yes."
Serkan reached into the pocket of his pants and took out a small jewelry box. He opened it, and to Eda's eyes appeared a big pink diamond in the shape of a flower.
She gasped with amazment. "It's beatuiful."
"Not as beautiful as the woman who is going to wear it." He put the ring on her ring finger, and she picked her hand up to see how the diamond sparkled in the last rays of the sun.
"Real charmer, aren't we?" She teased playfully, nodding Serkan in his ribs.
He threw his head back in laughter and gathered her into his arms. His hot breath tickled Eda's cheek.
"You are bringing the best in me." He said teasingly, brushing her ear with his lips.
Eda turned her head so their lips almost met. "I'm sure I do, from both sides."
"Not going to lie. You know how to push the buttons."
"I'm still you're boss. You know that. You are my assistant for two more months."
Serkan made a fake sad pout, but his eyes were sparkling playfully. "Are you going to work your husband to the ground? I hope you will let me take my leave."
"For what?" She frowned.
"For our honeymoon." He smirked but then pretended to sulk again. "Although, I don't know where we could go on my poor coffee boy's salary."
Eda rolled her eyes and punched him in the arm. "You're lucky because we can go on my salary."
Serkan laughed before cupping her cheeks. "I always knew I would marry well."
Eda raised herself to her knees and sat on Serkan's lap, straddling him. His left arm wrapped around her back while his free hand rested on the nape of her neck and pulled her closer for a kiss.
They kissed long and slow until Eda moaned against his lips. She dug her fingers into his hair, messing up his perfect hairstyle as their kiss turned more passionate and hungry. Eda bit into Serkan's lips, sighing. He felt so good, his lips tasted heavenly, and his scent was making her crazy.
