A/N: Hi, I'm popping in with a one-shot I wrote over a year ago. It sat for all this time in my drafts almost completed, so it's been a while.
I want to be done with all my not-AU amnesia stories before I move on to other ones, and it was just too long to keep it unpublished, so there it is.
This is a one-shot about amnesia times I wrote at the same time as 'If I Came To This World a Hundred Times...', but it didn't fit into that story, so it became an independent one.
This idea came to me when I was considering how or even if Serkan would regain his memory. As you know, I didn't give him his memories back, because I realized that I see two very different from each other approaches to the amnesia trope. One explores the idea of getting to know the other person again and falling in love. The other focused on regaining memories. And I find the difference between these two approaches as crucial and defining for the direction that the story takes. I focus on different aspects when the story is about getting to know each other again, than when the goal is to give my protagonist memories back.
So, not to dwell too much, this is a short one-shot (I know, even I'm surprised I'm able to write something short) with my idea of how Serkan could get his memories back and what would happen next.
I hope you will enjoy it ;)
P.S. It's happening two days after Eda gave him her ring back. So...

Serkan entered ArtLife, drawing surprised looks because he was late, and it never happened before. What was even more surprising, he didn't shout or freeze with his gaze anybody.
"Good morning, Eniste!" Melo exclaimed automatically, seeing him approaching her, Eda, and Ceren, before realizing what she said and covering her mouth with her hand.
"Good morning, Melo." He nodded and turned to Eda. "Eda, can we talk for a second in my office?"
Eda looked at Serkan, stunned, and exchanged shocked glances with the girls.
"Eda?" Serkan called her, waiting by the doors to the conference room.
She followed him, and when Serkan closed the door, Melo turned to Ceren with round eyes. "Did he just call me Melo like it was the most normal thing under the sun?"
Eda entered the conference room and walked to the bookshelves, before stopping and turning to Serkan, who closed all the panel doors. When she looked at him, he was already standing very close to her, and before she even registered what was happening, he pushed her against the bookshelves wall and kissed her. She was so shocked that she didn't react and let him kiss her.
"Why weren't you picking up my calls? I called you the whole morning. And why didn't you wait for me to drive to work? Did something happen?" Serkan asked after pulling back and kissing Eda on the cheek and neck.
She couldn't utter the word. She just stood there with round eyes.
"Are you feeling ok?" He asked with concern and cheeked her forehead for a temperature. "You look pale. Is it this temperature outside? Since when in September do we have that dreadful weather? Yesterday was still summer. Have you caught a cold?"
"Serkan, what are you doing?" She finally managed to regain her voice.
"What I'm doing?" He frowned slightly and smiled, leaning closer to her face and brushing his nose with her. "Isn't it obvious? I'm kissing my girlfriend. I closed the doors so nobody could see us, but I'm done with this farce today. If you won't tell your aunt, I will. Melo already calls me eniste."
