"What the hell happened there? Where is Serkan and Eda?" Ferit asked in shock.
"I'm not entirely sure." Engin sat heavily behind his desk. "Serkan shouted at Eda. She screamed at him. He kissed her. She slapped him. And when Selin barged at them, everybody followed, and the whole mess broke out, Serkan just took Eda's hand and left."
"Does that mean he has his memory back?"
"Maybe?" Engin shrugged.
"I don't even know what to say." Ferit sat in front of the desk and rubbed his face with his palm. "He was missing for two months, presumably dead, and all the sudden, he appears out of nowhere with Selin, and she's telling us they are together, and Serkan has no memory of last year? What is this madness?"
"If he has no memory, why did he leave with Eda? And why was he with Selin? Even without his memories, he never really was with her. Did he hit his head so bad that he thought it was a real relationship? What did she tell him? I'm sure nothing true. How did she even find him?"
"I don't know. But I don't like it. She is still here. She has no idea where Serkan left. We should talk to her and push her to get information from her. I'm sure she would like to brag about it."
"Do you think so?"
"Believe me, I have no doubt." Ferit pursed his lips in a bitter smile. "Unfortunately, I know her very well. Come, we have to find her before she will pull something."
He stood up and waited for reluctant Engin to follow him to the cafeteria where the small group of ArtLife employees was circling Selin, who smiled triumphally, looking around as if she was coming back to her rightful place.
Engin stopped next to his wife and looked at the blonde with annoyance. "Selin, can you tell us what is going on and why the hell are you here?"
"I'm back together with Serkan." Selin smirked like a pleased cat. "I came here with him to support my boyfriend in this difficult situation."
The murmur ran through the group, and Erdem even shuddered with disgust. Engin glanced at his personal assistant, for the first time in his life appreciating that man's way of expressing himself. He looked back at Selin.
"I don't know if you noticed, but your boyfriend." He made a question mark with his fingers. "Just left with his fiancee, and if you missed, he kissed her earlier."
"No, he didn't." Selin answered with a scowl, pulling her lips in a thin line.
"Buy glasses, Selin." Ferit snorted under his breath.
"Why are you still here?" Piril finally asked.
"Serkan wanted me to come back with him and take care of the PR mess in ArtLife."
"What PR mess?" Engin opened his arms in disbelief. "I don't see any, and I don't know about Serkan, but you are not working here anymore. He has no say in this now."
Selin looked at him with a superior smirk. "Eda could have stolen his right to the companies, but now he's back and will take what is his."
"Are you forgetting that we are partners here? We are bosses, too. Serkan doesn't have a majority vote in the Holding, not even half." Ferit said. "And we don't want you back."
Selin turned to the redhead and started to blink, feigning tears. "Piril, you are my friend. Will you stand how they treat me?"
"Selin, you can't expect us to hire you back after what you did and walk in here like nothing happened. What did you tell, Serkan?"
