Eda was standing frozen, staring at her new boss, who was looking straight into her eyes. She only hoped that he couldn't hear her heart pounding in her chest and her cheeks weren't red.

She never felt this way before. It was not only about his extremely handsome look. His facial features were perfect, his lips were full, and his eyes were beautiful, but there was something strange emanating from him that made Eda paralyzed. His charm and charisma were pulling her to him by an invisible string. She wanted to come close to him, cup his cheeks, and fall into his arms.

Eda could sense he was withdrawn as he looked at her a little hostile, but still, it didn't stop the fire he had ignited inside her. His eyes moved, scanning her up and down, and took a step in her direction, forcing her to break from her trance.

"Serkan Bolat." He politely extended his hand, and Eda shook it. When their fingers touched, she felt electricity bolting through her veins.

What he was doing to her?

"Eda Yildiz, Kiraz's new nanny." Eda didn't know how she managed to even utter these words, and surprisingly, her voice was calm, not shaking.

"Yes, I know. My mother told me." Serkan Bolat made a move, inviting her to sit on one of the chairs as he settled on another. "Can you tell me more about yourself? What is your experience and degrees?"

Eda walked to the armchair, suddenly troubled if her shorts weren't too short as she saw him looking at her legs. She sat down, facing him, and looked back at his face. He was much younger than she expected. The initial impression didn't fade. He was still handsome as hell, and even his voice was deep and sexy.

"I have a degree in French and English literature and language. I did a bachelor's in history of art and a year course in early childhood development at the Institute of Pedagogic in Istanbul. Half of my studies I spent abroad on exchange programs in England, Italy, and France. When I was there, I worked as an au pair for three families."

Serkan looked at her intently and nodded with approval, hearing about her studies, which made Eda feel a nice flattering in her stomach.

"Why, after so many degrees, did you decide to be a nanny, not to pursue a job aligning with your language skills?" He asked directly.

"I studied subjects that interested me, and I took a loan to afford them. Now, I need to pay my loan for my two master's degrees, and jobs that I had got offered in my field that would satisfy my interests wouldn't allow me to do it for the next ten years." She answered truthfully. "This job, on the other hand, will let me pay for my degrees in one year, and I'll be free to pursue my next dream, which does not consist of working at a corporation and translating emails for the rest of my life, even if it would bring me a good check."

Serkan Bolat smiled at her as if he approved her answer again, and Eda noticed his very nice half-smile. When he was smiling, he looked even younger, and she estimated he was probably only a couple of years older than her.

"What are your dreams?"

Eda cocked her brows at his question, which had nothing to do with the job she was supposed to do for him, but she answered. "I want to move to Italy, make a license for a tour guide, and work as one in Rome or Florence."

"You like art or architecture?"

"I like both of them. Architecture is part of art, and I love relief."

"I'm the architect. I like this architectural detail, too." Serkan smirked slightly, and Eda did what she could to keep a straight face and not show her amazement.
