Eda was lying in Serkan's embrace on a big bed in their new home. They ran there because no one knew about this house, and they didn't need anyone's interference right now.

Serkan was stroking her back, running his fingers between her shoulder blades, making her purr from the bliss and happiness she finally felt again, and it could be achieved only by being in his arms.

"You have one my thing I want back." He said after a long, comfortable silence.

Eda picked her head up to meet with his smiling gaze. "What is it?"

"My heart. I want it back, here." Serkan pointed to his chest, and Eda leaned closer to kiss him.

"I'm putting it back right now." She said with a big smile on her lips and rested her head back on his chest as Serkan resumed his caresses.

"I'm not that terrible person. You know that." He remarked, chuckling a bit.

"I know." Eda murmured, moving her face to hide it in the crook of his neck, pressing her nose to his skin to inhale his scent.

"And you are not this personification of patience and gentleness as everybody was saying all the time."

"I know."

"You are good and have a strong moral compass, but you are also mean, impatient, bad-tempered." Serkan continued, making Eda giggle.

She looked at him and teased playfully. "Are you talking about me or yourself?"

"We are not really that different." Serkan said softly, cupping her cheek.

"No." Eda answered, shaking her head. "We are more alike than anybody suspects. I'm just smiling more and don't shout right away, so people think I'm the nice one, and you are rude."

"You shout at me."

"And you smile at me."

Serkan smiled so brightly that it made Eda's heart flutter. He put his hand on the nape of her neck to pull her even closer. "I'm madly in love with you, Eda Bolat."

"Our feelings are mutual, Serkan Bolat." She whispered against his lips, and Serkan kissed her, taking her breath away.

He rolled her to her back, climbing on her, forcing his tongue inside her mouth, which she welcomed with all willingness, eager for more. Serkan was kissing her so passionately that Eda barely could believe how her luck had turned around again. This time, she hoped, it was final, and the big pink diamond ring on her left hand was a promise and testimony of it.

Serkan pulled away from her lips, softly kissing her cheeks and forehead, and leaned comfortably on his elbow with a big grin on his face. "It's a good thing we had visited the registry office on our way here."

Eda couldn't help but burst out with laughter. "You are the crazy and impulsive one."

"I am." He smiled smugly. "I just play it off as being logical and cold-headed, and everybody falls for it every time. I can always blame you and keep my image intact."

"Serkan?" Eda asked with a change in her voice, sounding a bit timid.

"Yes, baby?"

"Why didn't you take your ring off?"

Serkan extended his left hand and took Eda's, lacing their fingers together. He immersed in his thoughts for a while before he finally answered with a little shrug. "I don't really know. I just didn't want to."

Eda raised her brows. "And Selin let you?"

"You know I can be directly forced to do anything I didn't want to do?" Serkan pursed his lips.
