This short story is inspired by one of the amazing OSs by @millie2wolfhard, 'Traveling around' about time travel.

I loved the idea of traveling in time and space, and this is my take on it.

I hope you'll enjoy it :)

"Where are we? What happened?"

The girl walking behind Serkan bumped into his back as he abruptly stopped. Serkan was just about to enter the hotel lobby to attend a meeting with a client when suddenly he found himself in a completely different room. It definitely wasn't the hotel lobby in Taksim but a house. He was standing in a big entry hall leading to the open living room with a kitchen that looked very familiar.

"What happened?!" The girl asked again, stopping next to Serkan.

"I have no idea." He answered, still in deep shock, examining the interior of the house he knew too well, but how was it possible to be here?

"What is this place?" Eda asked, looking around. The house was beautiful. Old but adapted to modern needs. Spacious, bright, and airy. The style was a coherent mixture of modernistic with vintage and looked so warm and welcoming that Eda could move in right away and never leave. It looked exactly like her dream house.

"This is my house." Serkan answered, turning to Eda.

"What?" She made round eyes at him. She knew he was a hotshot architect and always admired his work, but she had never suspected he was so great in interior design too. She knew he usually designed huge hotels, ports, and stadiums, but what he did in his house was impressive, to say at least.

"My house." Serkan repeated. This was definitely his house but it was never furnished. He bought it years ago, and except for renovating the kitchen and bathrooms, upgrading electricity, and refreshing the walls and floor, he never did anything with the interiors. The house stood empty, and he never lived there.

"How on earth are we here?"

"I would want to know it too." Serkan said dryly.

Eda walked a couple of steps further to have a better look at the house, making Serkan follow her.

"Could you stop pulling me all the time? I want to have at least some skin left on my wrist." He grumbled, and Eda rolled her eyes at him.

Even if in some magical way she got transported to a completely different place, she still was handcuffed to this jerk, whom Eda hated the most in the world, who destroyed her dreams, and even when she confronted him, he still was a jerk, even bigger one, than she expected. Too bad he also was so handsome in real life that her knees weakened when Eda saw him entering the auditorium. But this weakness quickly passed after she saw how cocky and full of himself he was when she was defying him in front of the students and professors, and he was openly lying with that smirk on his face.

What an asshole!

The asshole just stopped behind, very close to her, and his intoxicating smell hit her nostrils again. Why he had to smell so good? Eda bit her lips and closed her eyes. His smell was making her want to forget about everything he had done to her and just grab his face and kiss him. She felt an unhealthy attraction toward him since the moment she saw him, which was only amplified with every second she spent in his proximity.

She almost lost her head and kissed him when she accidentally pulled him close to her in his car, reaching for a seat belt. He was so close to her, and his eyes were so beautiful that she, for a second, forgot her name, and his gaze turned softer, making her imagine that he felt the need to kiss her too. But he quickly reminded her who she was dealing with when he insulted her again, assuming she can't drive his little sporty car. Oh, she could and she showed him, and he just looked at her with admiration as if he saw her for the first time in his life, and Eda felt flattered. She felt so flattered that she had to turn her head away to hide her shy smile. What was he doing to her?!
