Eda was sleeping in Serkan's embrace in the bed at his house after they returned from their successful workshop when her phone rang in the middle of the night. At least she thought it was still night, ignoring the sun rays coming to the bedroom and the fact that when they fell asleep, it was already dawn. She reached for her phone and answered it with closed eyes, not even noticing it was a video call.

"Eda? Where are you?" She heard her mom's voice. "I thought you were staying with one of your friends, but they came looking for you at the breakfast."

Eda still didn't register what was happening and went back to sleep. "I'm with Serkan."

"Which Serkan?!" It was Aydan's sharp voice.

Eda turned and snuggled her nose into Serkan's chest.

"Oh, this one." The woman relaxed.

"Aydan, is this your son?" Feray Yildiz asked.

Serkan stirred, hearing women's voices, and looked around when he suddenly saw the phone in Eda's hand, lying on his chest while she was fast asleep, and his mother waving to him from the screen.

"They can see me!" He hissed and moved on the bed, trying to disappear from view. The phone fell between them on the duvet.

"Serkan!" Aydan called after him. "Son, show your face and don't embarrass me in front of Eda's mother or I will pay you a little visit."

Serkan pursed his lips, but he knew his mother was able to proceed with her threat, and he and Eda were naked while their clothes were discarded around his whole house, so he covered them with a blanket and picked up the phone.

"Good morning, Mother. Nice to meet you, Mrs. Yildiz." He greeted them with a fake polite smile.

"Serkan, take that blanket off Eda's face or she will suffocate."

"Anne!"

"So you are this Serkan Eda was crying her eyes out about?" Eda's mom raised her brows.

"Fortunately, they finally make up from what I see, right Son?" Aydan remarked with a content smile.

"Anne, we would make up a long time ago if you wouldn't try to set us up, what every time ended up in disaster!"

"Serkan, I'm getting the sudden urge to take a walk toward the river." Aydan said causally, but the unmistakable threat was apparent in her voice.

"Wherever you are, I would like to meet my daughter's boyfriend in person and dressed, so I'm suggesting you two visit the registered office on your way to us." Feray said with a small ironic smile.

Serkan wanted to answer but turned red when he felt Eda's hand pulling the cover down, exposing his chest, and stroking it.

"Eda, baby, stop." He whispered, trying to stop her, when she started to push him back to the mattress.

"Come back to bed. I'm not done with you yet." She mumbled, but it was clear enough for both women on the other side of the line to hear.

"It's your mother calling." Serkan hissed, fighting with Eda's hand, which was wandering under the sheet to his groin.

"Hung up on her."

"Eda!"

"I think you know better not to hang up on your potential mother-in-law, Serkan." Feray smirked, and Serkan paled. "Did Eda mention that my husband is the head of the Criminal Investigation Department? He can make bodies disappear without a trace, and he will conduct an unsuccessful search for you himself."
